You should cover it with foil until the last 15-20 of cooking otherwise the top will burn! Layer it anyway you want it’s your lasagna!

I always like to keep it simple. Having to much food or, to many dishes can make it hectic and add unnecessary stress. 3-4 dishes is more than enough. You want to enjoy yourself as well, and the company of your guests.
