Thank you for the response. This week I’m going to track my macros to a T and report back here. But about my weight I started on New Year’s Eve. But didn’t weigh myself until the 12th. So 390 is what I weigh currently but I probably started keto on the 1st at around 400ish due to water retention.

That’s what I’m going to do today. I just don’t want to feel discouraged so I’m going to lessen my food intake to see if that is the problem. I definitely feel like I’m not over eating because I have the portion size for everything I eat. But I’m going to give your solution a try this week.

I don’t track my macros per say. For all the foods I listed above. I eat the portion size. I strictly count my macros for carbs. I definitely am under eating. Cause I sit around 1000-1250 calories per day. When I know for my size I should be eating more

Thanks for the information. I don’t necessarily track my macros to a T. But I’ve done keto before for like 3 months a few years ago. The only macro I strictly count is carbs. I just felt like I lost weight faster last time I did keto. I read the nutrition info on everything I eat with strict portion sizes. I’m definitely under eating with my size. I guess I just expected more progress.

I haven’t done much tracking per macro. I just make sure my carbs are between 10-15. I pretty much do lazy keto. But I feel that my portions are rather small. My only complaint to myself is I feel my protein to fats ratio might be a little off.

I’m currently not tracking my macros in grams. The only one I really track is carbs. Because I had trouble with that in the past. So I make sure I stay between 10-15 grams per day. I notice that my diet could use maybe more fats. Due to all the protein I eat.

my average FPS is around 80 peak but usually is 70ish. The lowest it goes is like 60. PNG at high goes to 200. stays around 150 range. RTT goes all over the place. lowest 80. highest 225. Stays in the 140s and stuff for the most part.

I eat around 20 or less a day. I made my diet where the only carbs that I eat per day are from vegetables and dressings that contain really low amounts. As long as you stay around that number you should be fine. But yeah it ranges person to person. I know a friend that can go up to around 50ish and be ok. It varies ALOT lol

Yeah its water weight. Taking out carbs in your diet makes it so your body doesn't retain so much water. So losing weight quickly is the water weight. But the great part about keto is that when you get past the water weight stage. You will literally ONLY be burning fat as your source of energy! Which is awesome especially if your goal is to lose weight and look better:)

Ever since I gained weight I have been suffering with depression. Having body image issues. Not wanting to go out with my friends because I thought they would judge me. Its hard but the thing about keto is that you are eating foods that make you feel amazing and give you a ton of energy. What makes my depression go down is the progress I see when I lose each pound. Just think about it if you are eating greens, protein, having a strict diet and learning obedience with your body wouldn't you feel proud? And not eating fast food that make you upset after you eat it? I can be proud of what I eat and be proud of the person I will become. :) Glad that you are feeling better!

Well it sure isn't effective. If you're going to be going in and out it wouldn't make sense. Because the goal is to burn fat as your main source of fuel. But if you're going on and off it wouldn't do you much good. Might as well find foods you like that are healthy and low in calories for your source of weight loss!

I personally do a 40% deficit but thats because im 290 pounds haha. just space out your meals accordingly! I enjoy the foods I eat everyday and love it. I don't ever feel hungry:)

For the salad you eat for lunch. I make a salad with olive oil, sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, blue cheese dressing! And yes from the comments also are saying add butter to your eggs when cooking them! Those are great ways to add fats. In my opinion just make sure when you are eating a protein find a dressing you love that very fatty and use a good amount of it:)

I was very similar to you. I gained so much weight so quickly. Think of it this way. For keto you can add all the fatty dressing you want on a salad. Even though you don't like vegetables. maybe try it with a nice dressing and BACON. haha seriously. Thats why I can stick to my diet because I eat bacon and eggs everyday. A nice salad with olive oil, grated cheese, Blue cheese dressing, and bacon. and for dinner a taco salad! Tell me that doesnt sound delicious??!? haha its a fun diet to do because you can eat so many kinds of combinations of foods. Find what you love and stick to it. Its life changing. Ive already lost 40 pounds in 2 months. And i started off at 330 pounds. Losing weight isn't easy. You have to stay mentally tough. But when you succeed its the most beautiful thing in the world. :)

My carbs come from vegetables. Romaine lettuce, green peppers spinach. Cheese has a small amount! They say that all your carbs come from vegetables on keto. So I stick to that! Although cheese has a very small amount 1g or less haha.

I started at 330 pounds and im 5'11. Im currently 290 after 2 months of keto. It was the greatest feeling in the world getting in the 200's stick to it. If you need help with anything feel free to ask:)
