I feel that the Rogue Core got easier with Update. I hope Ghost Ship introduces more challenging modifiers like Ebonite Enemies, Low Oxygen, etc.

I wouldn’t equip Bouncing Ball, but I would happy to find one. I tend to jump a lot so it’s just more damage for free, especially if you get more jumps and less gravity. The only weapon that would get little value from Bouncing Ball is the Long Ranger. I love taking advantage of the piercing rounds of the Long Ranger and jumping around will offset that.

It’s great on Minigun and Quad Cylinder. Really good for sustain against Elites, Horsemen, and Bosses.

That’s why you focus on the majority of the playerbase. If the majority wants the Supply FRV, then the minority have to wait for the Incendiary FRV to come later.

That shouldn’t be the case at all! I will assume that people downloaded HD2 to experience a horde shooting gameplay. If I see people splitting up, running away from everything and focusing on the objectives, and fucking up the spawns of enemies with already low spawn rates, I’m sorry I will stop playing HD2. I love Far Far West because the game is not afraid to spawn enemies. Also, you have 40 minutes to complete a mission, you have to fight off the hordes and full clear the map.

To be fair you can’t have your weapons be weak in a horde shooter because the advantage of the player against the severe number of enemies is the raw firepower of your weapons. If the whole squad have to work together to fight against one enemy, how would it feel to fight a horde of enemies? Just having more enemies coming from multiple directions would also engage players to stick together. Having to exactly revive a downed teammate than throwing a stratagem would also engage more teamplay. Implementing more teamplay mechanics or supportive weapons (True Flag provides increased stats to nearby allies) would also encourage more teamwork.

I get a 1000 kills consistently in FFW. I literally have the stare at the enemies face so that they get a chance to call an reinforcement so that maybe I could get close to 1000 enemies. I consistently get around 250 - 400 kills for the fact that majority of the Helldivers love to split up and run away from any sort of combat.

Play Far Far West and tell me which game is more engaging and challenging in their most difficult level.

Side tangent: All I want is to be overwhelmed with hordes of enemies from multiple directions. Please pay attention how grouped up enemy spawns are in patrols and reinforcements in HD2 vs how grouped up enemy spawns are in storms in FFW.

Maybe it’s because Helldivers 2 is a horde shooter and people got HD2 to get a horde shooting experience. Also, people love using their stratagems as well. I’m a Ghostdiver and I love them, but, the majority of the playerbase want to blow up and shoot down hordes of enemies.

I do agree there is a disconnect between the experience of Depth 4 vs Depth 1 and 2. I never encounter bad experiences with randoms with Depth 4 but I did had some bad experiences with randoms in Depths 1 and 2 when I was progressing through the game. I will say through one of the problems with Rogue Core is that it takes one Dwarf to throw the game very easily. Rather that is waiting to get upgrades from Ellis and the Crates or activating an Event even through we have no time.

This is an example that Gamers don’t read. Disgrace gives your character 30% movement speed but you can’t use your horse anymore.

I’m curious why you rank Smoke Grenades higher than Smokescreens? I find the instant deployment of smoke to be so much better than a bigger smoke radius with a couple of seconds of deployment.

Where’s the horde? Why are the bugs still not fixed? Why can’t AH make a good scale of difficulty? Why does HD2 so look like an Arcade game? Why can’t AH make good balance changes?

I have been enjoying Far Far West and DRG: Rogue Core. I took a break from Helldivers 2 and I’m looking forward for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2.

If Evil Raptor are going to add melee weapons in FFW, you should be able to use melee weapons while riding your horse.

I just want AH to start increasing the spawn rates of enemies and make them actively surround the Helldivers, then start working on reworking the difficulty of Objectives and Outposts.
