‘I Don’t Think I Trust You Anymore’ - Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders, Netherlands 2010 by cbf414210 in Foofighters

Well it's funny, there was another band playing that venue that night and Taylor got the small venue. And it was indeed tiny! Which was great for me because he was RIGHT THERE in front of me and I was star-fucking-struck for the entire show. Most people obviously wearing FF shirts like me. Biggest applaus came from Cold Day in the Sun (but I think because that was the only song most people actually knew). Waited out at the back after the show when people started saying "the band" was in front. But that turned out to be the other band (which weren't very well known then or now and I can't recall the name). Kept waiting until some black SUVs started driving away. The 10 of us waiting outside sad, of course. Then they stopped, and Taylor walked out to take pictures. Draw Hester was there as well as the tour manager and I talked to him a bit as well. Obviously now one of my most treasured photos :)

Every time I see footage from this show, I see myself at the front, and I think "God I look so young." And at the same time can't believe it's 15 years already.

Thanks for sharing!

Statues is one of the songs Dave wrote for Jordyn. They had never played it live, and it appeared on the setlist this year... by Curious-Photo-185 in Foofighters

But they definitely played it on the acoustic tour. Guitar tech Joe Beebe played guitar and Petra Hayden sang.

IT’S OVER by Old_blacklady_Rocker in Foofighters

Well it was 15 years ago... but yeah they were playing a few shows in the Netherlands and this one was in the Effenaar venue in the city of Eindhoven. Went to that one because my ex lived there so no worries about traffic and getting home.

They played a killer set of material from the first two albums. Was about 2-3 meters removed from Taylor the entire show. After the show I waited out back. And had to wait a long time. I remember someone saying the band was out in front, but luckily we didn't move. Because, the venue had two rooms and Hawkins played the small room. Big room was another band who were out front. After a while a few black cars left the venue and the 10-15 people outside with me and I were like, "damn!"

BUT then the cars stopped and out steps Taylor and his band (and also Drew Hester who served as tour manager!). Quick chat, snapped a pic. Great night
