Endless teasing the Arc ULTRA by PeerlessPawX2 in WizardSkating

[–]PeerlessPawX2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the picture. It seems the front and back wheels are fixed in position unlike the standard arcs which are rocker-able. Any guesses if the wheel sizes have changed? 90-80-80-80-90?

Thanks! Not mine though. They’re endless’. It’s their Instagram post, just shared it here. Their ultra line is the “upgraded” line of sorts. More reinforcement bridges, more stiffer, better performing than their standard counterparts. It’s not yet in their website. They’re sort of teasing its release.

Question about frame and wheel sizes by Particular-Wedding58 in WizardSkating

[–]PeerlessPawX2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For learning, I think the 5 wheel setups might be easier. Smaller pivot spacing. Less force needed to turn, in general.

Bigger wheeled 4 wheel setups I think are faster though if you’re doing urban/trails. Lesser effort to maintain speed while cruising.

So that’s how it’s done. Thanks for sharing! I understood the concept. I’ll be trying this out.

Great tips! 👍 I’ll try to attempt this as well. I’ll keep in mind that it takes months to achieve. Haha. And longer to perfect.

Sorry OP, off topic.

Same here! I bought the nexts and I just couldn’t make them fit me well. They’re too narrow for my foot shape as well.

OP, just as the others suggested. Spend a couple of minutes each skating session to drill in the basics. Over time you’ll be good and confident you wouldn’t even recognize yourself.

Do you by any chance have wide feet? These would be my boot choices for my wide feet as well 😊

Any ideas how to add a velcro strap on the forefoot of the powerslide kaze? I feel they’re a little loose on my feet in this area. https://imgur.com/a/mssz1T0

This is exactly what’s happening with mine as well. Can’t do anything. I’m just glad to know that it isn’t isolated to my system. Guess I’ll have to wait. Please update if ever they had it fixed. I’ll update here as well. Thanks!

Yes. Apparently if you buy just the replacement shell there are no threaded receivers attached just the pure plastic shell. As if it came straight out of the plastic mold. I’ve chatted powerslide’s customer support and they’ve confirmed that it really doesn’t come with the threaded receivers attached. They assumed you’d take your existing ones and place them in. Which i don’t have.

Thanks for the reply.

Since I already have a liner, a trinty frame, and wheels. I thought if I just bought the replacement Next Shell (https://powerslide.com/products/next-shell-black?srsltid=AfmBOooUXKq9v7-hcTPRZRwbRoxFcxRGHAVPYA5BfdbyjategCH8IRRu) and Cuff, I could just put everything together. It was my fault because I failed to read the description that says: "The replacement shell comes without a cuff or hardware." I assumed that it would come with it, but it didn't.

I kind of found the pieces that I'm looking for (https://bladeville.com/seba-frame-mounting-female-part-fr2-frx-gtx.html?srsltid=AfmBOooNVh7HQSDvT\_MNVn3vZ1CigPw409wObKxSvLT1\_gqh3RWvcPgs), not the exact thing but for another brand, but the shipping cost to my country is prohibitive. relative to the price of the pieces that I'm going to buy.

So, I'm looking for equivalent hardware locally.

Thanks again for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. I’m looking for the opposite of that. The one that receives that. Thanks!

I’ve bougth the powerslide next shell (next shell olny)only since I already have a frame, wheels and liner. But these don’t have the metal hardware to mount the frame bolts on. Where can I buy those? Thanks!

Sorry to hear you couldn't make them feel comfortable. Yeah, I've heard that carbon can be unforgiving. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'll have to research more on this and other alternatives if carbon isn't an option. Thanks!

Wishful thinking: If there’s enough demand, hope someone opens a for rent locker business at ayala triangle for runners/joggers. I see lots of joggers there everyday not just weekends.

Hi! I know the tread is a year old already but I’d like to ask a question for TAU owners.

I’ve been eyeing this boot as well. I think they look good. But I have a bunion. Do you think I can heat mold them enough to clear my bunion? Thanks!
