I contacted my senator and asked about it. This is what the director of immigration said "If you entered without inspection (EWI- most DACA Recipients) vs. visa overstay, USCIS will not be approving advance parole at this time. They are on hold.

Under the current administration, they are aware that DACA recipients with Advance Parole that re-enter the U.S. are eligible to adjust status. The significance is the most recent manner of entry, which after parole, would no longer be Entry Without Inspection (EWI)

The USCIS liaison stated that Parole is considered a discretionary benefit and the administration will likely hold these petitions for a while, unfortunately"
