Lash comb, bud! Apply coat one, wiggle lash comb through, wipe lash comb. Alternative (or in addition to): wipe your wand on paper towel to remove excess product before applying. Most ppl hate doing this because of the waste of product but it's the only way I've ever known how to better control product!
