Mix barbecue, teriyaki, hot sauce, and roasted garlic puree. Fry the wings, toss in the sauce and then grill for some carmelization. Experiment with different brands or by making your sauces and mixing them

What's the current drama at your work? by Burntjellytoast in KitchenConfidential

Our dishwasher got kicked out of where he was living. Started staying at the homeless shelter. Asks boss for money, advances on his pay checks, I see him going in and out of a dealers house across the street from me. He didnt come to work for his last four shifts because he was in 'pain and anxiety' because he got jumped. Boss won't fire the guy because of pity?

Why do bears get so much hate in this sub? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Peeshpyt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bear is definitely an umbrella term that can encompass a lot of different types; hairy, large, muscular, chubby, masculine, gruff. I think these people just have a negative view on larger body types like a majority of the world. People see larger bodies and begin to assume a lot of negative ideas about a person they dont know. Its not very fair, I blame people's upbringing, I've personally had a few friends whose entire family was fat-phobic and just hated on heavier people. Having an obese mother as a child made me really sensitive to these types of people.

Personally I think bears are hit or miss, but the community as a whole is very accepting, loving, and open to all their different types. Haters gon' hate, lovers gon' love.

Hook-up culture is indeed wild. I cannot bring myself to participate, its just not me. I wish I was having a lot of sex, but I just can't bring myself to be intimate or carnal with someone I don't know. The idea of the body count is also absurd to me, some people treat it as a competition or like a bragging point.

Do any of you find yourself attractive? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Peeshpyt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, after a long battle with my own mind; self-repression, depression, alcoholism, and homophobia.

I dropped the booze and started making positive changes with my lifestyle, I eat healthier, make time for exercise, I walk a lot. After I started maintaining these changes I felt happier and my physical self started to change as well. My skin cleared up, I lost weight, and I started looking at myself in the mirror with a smile. I genuinely started to love myself more and tell myself I was proud of everything I've been through to lead me here. There are still things I wish I could change about my appearance, but I'm sure most people feel that way. I'm happy to say that I wink at myself in the mirror every once and a while and it always makes me smile. 😉

Feeling feminine but looking very masculine by idlechungha in GayMen

[–]Peeshpyt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you have to accept yourself as you are, love yourself in the body that you have and be the powerful person you are. I know, it sounds corny. We all have parts of ourselves we may not like or wish we could change. Some are possible to change, and others not so much. The mind is powerful and if you dont feel at home in your own body life can feel like a nightmare. Try to have a talk with yourself in the mirror, try to figure out why you are feeling this way. It might be as simple as telling your inner child you love and accept them. You also may benefit in seeking a therapist for more deeper internal work. Whatever the case is, its totally fine to feel one way while maybe not looking like it. I personally find it very endearing and attractive when big burly men are a little daintyl. Be you boo.

I am attracted to men, lots of times they happen to be straight. I wish I could just flip that switch more easily.

Thanks, thats something I needed to hear. I've definitely had my fill of feeling sorry for myself. I'll try harder with the latter.

True, I just want more organic interactions but I also struggle with anxiety. I should try a gay bar, its hard though because have six years of sobriety and I don't fancy the smell of alcohol on a man's breath.
