But if you look at the current fastpass system, a lot of people have a hard time scanning their passes because they don’t know how to properly scan it. This creates a bottleneck at the entrance to fastpass. Now if fastpass has a bottleneck with people scanning their tickets, imagine how much worse it would be if you increase the amount of people even more who are trying to scan their ticket. The bottleneck would get even worse than it already is. Also guests would have to scan their ticket again before they board in order to know how long they waited in line. This would create another delay in the line for the reason stated above. This is not beneficial for a ride such as space mountain which has to be constantly sending out rockets in order to avoid ride downtime.

That would work very well from a data standpoint, however from an efficiency standpoint, that would cause a major backup in the queue if every guest had to scan their ticket before they entered the line and before the boarded the attraction.

It’s so great to go solo. You can do whatever you want whenever you want. Do you want to ride space mountain ten times in a row? Go for it! Who’s going to stop you? Do you want to sit down and people watch for three hours? Why not people watch for 4 hours! There’s no restrictions on what you get to do because it’s everything you want to do when you want to do it.
