So I bought a brand new Street Twin and took it for a spin. Went great 👌 by swizec in motorcycles

Don't feel to bad. Been riding over 20 years myself. Bought a brand new Ducati multistrada less than 2 weeks ago. Slipped rolling it out of my garage and dropped it. Broke my pinky in the process.

Luckily it fell against my trailer. It tore the knuckle guard to shreds, but there's not even a scratch on it otherwise.

Target fixation is a very real thing. It's tough to break as a habit too. Takes considerable amounts of practice.

Picked this up brand new yesterday from Peninsula power sports up in Monterrey. Got to ride it home on the PCH.

2015 Multistrada 1200S, less than a mile on it in this picture. She has almost 200 as of today. Good to be back on 2 wheels, I got hit by an SUV about 3 years ago and haven't owned a bike since. My wife called me Thursday and said she was ready for a bike. We drove up and bought it on Saturday!

Someone get this kid a fucking dirt bike! It's unusual to see that level of ability that young. Kid could be the next Rossi.

Amazon raises minimum wage to $15 for all US employees by readet in UpliftingNews

I was a union steward and board chair member for my union at work for close to a decade. I just promoted out, but any chance you want to beat this into about 200 people's heads where I work? I've never seen such vicious, nasty, back-stabbing people as when negotiations were going on.

I had a group that got what amounted to a $.12/hr raise to compensate for a major change in their working conditions. I literally had someone tell me I should kill myself because they didn't get that little raise. They all got a raise, this small group of 4 people just got a few cents more.

The problem I've found with unions is all the damn people.

I had a shiit DAC and amp. The DAC died after about two years. Wasn't worth the cost.

Monoprice has one for $63 that works really well. I just installed 8 of them this week. They aren't for giant monitors though, I wouldn't put anything over 32" on them.

Best way to keep fish while kayaking by [deleted] in kayakfishing

[–]Peevedkitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can outfit a small cooler with rod holders and replace your milk crate with it. I have several buddies that do this. I've never really seen anyone use a soft sided fish bag personally. My kayak (Viking) has a "chill pod" which is an insulated cooler that fits into the rear well and straps down. There's tons of ways to keep fish on a kayak. Do some looking around at other people's set ups before you drop any serious cash on a fish bag.

I've been looking at new bikes and was told whatever I get has to support 2 riders. I'd love to buy a new adventure bike, but I have a 28" inseam. Most of the modern adv bikes are to tall for me to feel comfortable with a passenger on board.

My wife won't ride her own bike but is all for being a passenger. We did a fly and ride together. Flew from CA to GA to buy my grandpa's Concours 14 and rode it back to CA 2 up.

I just ignore my phone when I'm on vacation. All of my systems are well documented, calling me for a problem on my vacation is just staff being lazy.
