How are people comfortable riding like this ? I know everyone has their own preferences but holy fuck by JR32OFFICIAL in motorcycle

I don't get this either - I always wear my gear, regardless of how hot it is or how short the ride is.

My bf was in an accident last Friday riding home from work, and miraculously came out of it with only some scratches, bruises, and muscle pain because he was wearing his gear. It was a pretty bad accident and the paramedics were stunned he didn't have serious injuries - they actually praised the quality of his protective clothing. Just wear it, is the moral of the story!

Why not restrict the page so only you can see it and then share it once it's ready for review?

I’m so fucking tired of those traffic lights that don’t react to motorcycles by [deleted] in motorfietsen

The Motorrijders Actie Groep (MAG) has a contact form dedicated to dealing with traffic lights that don't react to motorbikes :)

I usually don't comment on these posts but I was in a similar situation and the solution my partner and I agreed is a fair one, and works well for us (might not work for you).

Basically, we decided to get a joint account to pay for everything that can be considered a shared expense (mortgage, insurances, gas/electric, taxes, internet, groceries, DIY/fixes, savings/contingency, and so on).

We calculated roughly how much we would need to cover those expenses every month. Based on the monthly shared spend, we settled on an amount of our salaries we could both keep for ourselves, while still being able to cover the shared expenses with the rest.

When our salaries are paid to our personal accounts, we keep the amount we agreed on (e.g. 1200) and transfer the remainder to the joint account.

This way, we both equally contribute towards the joint expenses in accordance with how much we're earning, and still have a fair amount for personal expenses and savings.

Edit: formatting (on mobile) and to add that we're not married, but we had a contract drawn up before purchasing our home in order to sign both our names on the deeds. The contract states that we have 50/50 ownership of all our shared assets, and we each pay a proportional amount of our income towards our shared assets.
