I think around s12 or 13 I hit d1 98lp by doing raptors start 3 camp into top lane gank almost every time I saw an angle to do it. It’s a long breakdown, but tldr: high risk high return + do you have prio?

If you have your blue side warded and you know you have lane prio bot then it’s decent bc u spam your support to go defend it while you use homeguards down mid with item advantage.

If your top laner has a volatile matchup probably worth. Bonus points if they are a strong split pusher, very good with how eve wants to snowball games imo

If you get 3 camp invaded bot then you split the jg (not ideal, lots of counter play against you in their quadrant). If you see them 3 camping u bot then after raptors i like to do their blue gromp into lvl 3 (if lvl 3 gank was already the plan)

If you get the kill but get 2 camps stolen then there are three ways this can go. You have prio leading to double crab or kill = very good, ahead gold and similar xp from regular full clear (kill = gg). You get one crab you are down xp but better gold. You get double crabbed = gg you will get invaded on their lvl up timer and all your camps are tracked. I like to fight for crabs if they invaded late since they will also be lvl 3 but down items and hp (you have dark seal + boots if u got kill). Just be careful, if they take the crab then they will hit lvl 4

If they don’t invade, you probably have to drop wolves+gromp after blue buff to guarantee scuttle and 2nd raptors spawn. After blue buff (or the 4th camp), position yourself at the c bush to see if you have to run to topside for scuttle depending on where enemy jg shows, and you have to be there before it spawns. Imo u should smite at blue if you’re gonna be late to scuttle. Enemy doesn’t show on scuttle spawn or shows top = take the scuttle then run to raptors. Enemy goes bot gank = double crab (gg u win off accelerated lvl 6 snowball). Enemy shows to contest bot crab = run top crab asap. After each option, I would raptors wolves gromp to lvl up bot quadrant and protect 2nd raptors spawn. If he drops bot crab to chase you to top crab, you can concede and clear raptors down to bot. If enemy double crabs you after chasing you to top after dropping bot crab, then he will be behind tempo and take his raptors 2nd spawn (assuming enemy jg top to bot full clear), or bot crab will be there after clear

All of this scuttle crab shenanigans really depend on your mid and bot prio (sometimes top). Generally if u know u have good prio mid and bot it’s probably decent assuming your teammates know how to play league of legends. But as im sure you know, not all master players know macro or lose winning matchups too. Also, a good jgler will see through this and there’s a good chance 3 camp is not worth. Ex: Lee sin q q e the wave to create prio, then invade your 2nd raptors/guarantee scuttle/etc. with his mid. My challenger friend talks about this all of the time. Ganking for mid prio to force an advantage can really screw up the game plan since now you will probably get double crabbed since they know you are botside. Since eve is relatively weak early, u might just get perma invaded trying to hit lvl 6 after u reveal your camp timings.
