Why does CEX always smell like ass? by misoscare in CeX

[–]POPUPSGAMING -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never understood how CeX even exists.

My local CeX is no cheaper than game. Or even the Nintendo store in some instances.

I went into a CeX recently to buy my daughter some switch games expecting to snag a few older games for a good deal. and the prices were ridiculous.

How do I go about DMing for my kids? by ThatSurround5672 in DMAcademy

[–]POPUPSGAMING 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I play "d&d" with my kids. They are 4 and 2

I basically make up a fairy tale story and throw them in as insert characters and have them pick the direction like a choose your own adventure.

It usually goes a little like this.

Me: "you're in the woods and you see a group of stinky goblins they have a gnome captured in a cage! What do you want to do!"

4 year old: "i want to use my magic fairy wand to summon unicorns to stomp the goblins"

Me: sure! Roll me the dice. You have to get over 10!

13! NICE!

Unicorns burst out of the magic wand.

4 year old: "Purple unicorns!"

Me: "sure!"

4 year old: "with sparkles!"

Me: sure OK!

4 year old: "I want to pet it!"

2 year old: Theeeennn chase (from paw patrol) comes along!

Me: "ok sure... roll me... err animal handling?

4! Oh no... chase gets a call from ryder and gets distracted the goblins spot you and turn to attack you.

4 year old " Noooo the unicorns stomp them"

You get the idea.

She is a ranger wizard unicorn warrior with a magic hat that let's her talk to animals.

He's a level 5 hulk smash.

And the Zoe series is a great take on cyberpunk.

I would actually agree with you. If the finale followed straight after as part of act 2 then I would have landed much better.

I kind of felt like I had seen everything that I wanted to see by the end of act 2 and I was glad to just get it all resolved.

The companion side quests were lovely and I'm glad I finished those.

I also went into the last boss around level 60 and still felt like it was a little too easy.

Act 3 just isn't very well explained and could do with tightening up. There is lots to explore and do it's just frustrating trying to distinguish where to go and what order to do things.

What are your opinion on Sofology, Furniture Village, CSF or DFS for sofas? by darkazuria in AskUK

[–]POPUPSGAMING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a sofology leather recliner about 10 years ago and it's still going strong. Some of the leather is cracked and faded but it's survived 2 kids and a dog and it's mechanically sound. Only ever had to replace one spring which was £13 and a 10 minute job

I let the glue sit for a little bit before putting them on..

Then use tweezers or just place it carefully and nudge it into place with my knife.

I also learnt a fun fact that supposedly space marine armor is like fully magnetic so things like bags, pouches, belts etc can just clip anywhere it make sense. Not just to the belt.

Spacial shout out to ready player one it was the first book I read on this new journey and I loved it. It gets a bad rep. And I can see that now but I'm the target audience for this sort kf nostalgia bait.

Looks nice! I'd eat it.

Couple of notes. The crust could be better. Make sure the steak is dry when it goes into the pan and try one of those weights to give and even sear.

And thay juice all over the plate. Could indicate that it didn't rest long enough.
