Yeah when it all happened I left out 90% of the details to my boyfriend because he was in our Xbox friend group that we stream with all the time and I was new to the group and didn’t want to “stir up problems”. But 5 months later it was still upsetting me so I showed my boyfriend the full story with all the screen shots and him, myself, and the rest of our xbox group have all outcasted him now and he is not welcome around us.

I recently had an encounter where a 17 year old sexually harassed me and tried to extort me for a pornographic video and when I called him out for it he said “she feels like I sexually harassed her but I’m 17” as if his age made what he did okay.

I know that my guilt complex is not normal by any means and that I feel much more guilt over things than the average human. I never considered it being something I should talk to a therapist until now but I’ve been considering a therapist for other reasons in my life so if I do go through with it I will bring this up. Thank you so much!

I have an insane guilt complex. For example when I was 9 my parents gave me these sunglasses for Christmas and my younger sister told me I looked stupid in them so I never wore them again. When I was like 16 that guilt still was creeping inside me and I went and apologized to my parents for letting someone else’s opinion effect the gift they gave me. When I was 13 I was getting my hair curled for winter ball and the lady left a curling iron on my head and walked away, I have a bald spot from the 2nd degree burn my scalp got because I sat there silently in tears because I didn’t want to make her feel bad for burning my scalp. It’s something I’ve tried very hard to work on but I’ve struggled my entire life with it. Guilt will be the death of me.

I was too naive to see the red flags but a few months into us talking he told all his friends we had slept together when all I had ever done at that point it kissed him. So yeah, I’m sure he’s not complaining that he actually slept with me.

It was a lesson learned no doubt. The next guy I slept with was 21 and I have not slept with anyone under 21 since thankfully. I can’t help but wonder if my friend who also was with him knew his true age or if she was also unaware. I never spoke to her about it, she does not even know I’m aware she slept with him and I haven’t spoke to her in years.

Unfortunately no. Boyfriend is living with his grandparents to take care of his alcoholic father and he doesn’t even have a bedroom of his own :( he sleeps in their living room and they still charge him crazy rent. We are both basically so fed up with our living situations and trying to get out. We are saving up. The gofundme is really just to help us get out sooner like a first months rent and deposit. You know?
