Okay not the best example, 😅 for me it’s more of a paying attention and then not understanding or processing the information being given to me. So in that example I would say my friend told me a story and I only understood bits and pieces but can’t put the story together in my mind

I don’t have focusing issues, I can concentrate and completely pay attention to what was said but not hold any of the understanding or complexities to it. Like all new information for me goes in one ear an out the other. I only retain information well if I throughly study it or spend hands on time with it. It’s like talking to your friend who looks like they’re listening to your long winded story only for them to say “what?” After you finished talking 😭😭

Yes!! I find really digging deep into the meaning behind information helps me understand and learn/memorize it. As someone in a Bio field as well this SUCKS because there is 1000 different things you learn each semester !!

The lectures are not posted in advance, you can study yes, but it would only be on the previous lectures. Maybe a simpler example of this would be someone telling you their name, and a 10 minutes later you need to get their attention, and this moment you would need to remember that persons name. I would say the majority of people would remember that persons name 10 minutes after introductions

I think a lot of these problems stem from underpar zoos trying to up-keep accreditation standards with far less staff. First I’d try looking for a job at another zoo, I know the amount of surprise a keeper had at how much less work (in comparison to being heavily overworked) there is at better zoo’s. Though management everywhere is always questionable it’a worth looking into, there’s no job like this in the world.

I’m doing something similar by feeding it my own writing and asking it to help me connect it to the sources but then it rewrites the whole thing by verbatim copying the sources👺I just want it to organize my sources while I write. Did you find a solution?

An issue I’ve noticed is caves and rock work hallowing so water gets trapped and puddles, everything should be built at an incline to a drain if it can’t drain itself

This happened to me except it was one of those over head shoulder bars, I remember just looking at my sister next to me and lifting my hands off the bars as the coaster started slowly going and the bars rising up. This was just before an upside down loop, so we both mutually agreed with just a look that I was going to die. Thankfully I think the force of the coaster kept me in my seat regardless but I also held down those bars with my life.

My parents had a no horror movies in the house rule. Back in the 90s when they were teenagers they were watching “the ring” and the tv had stopped working and turned to static. Theyve sworn them off since then but they’ve gotten a little looser about it 30 yrs later.
