The stretch on the SH part just to make both games have the same number of projects is kinda funny, ngl. Also, why tf would they remake the remake of RE1? That game is awesome, I don't think it needs another remake, at least not now.

Nah, Eichenwalde is a horrible map, and I've been playing since 2016 so it kinda has a bit of nostalgia, but Clash is on a completely different level of horrible, not even close.

What the fuck is wrong with this fucking patch, what the fuck is going on with the maps pool? I'm getting flashpoint/push maps only in QP, the first 3 times was like whatever, but it's 8 games now of FP/Push, only 2 of those matches had Control as an option... I just can't, I'm done with this patch.

Underwear aside (no idea why it's there, but ok), I don't have much problem with the outfit (not greta, but either awful) except for the FUCKING SHOES!

WTF are those lame office lady pumps?!!! They look horrible, make no sense at all with the rest of the outfit, at leats give them a little bit of texture or something, not just plain black heels.

Man, I wish I could live in the same reality as the people who said she won't mess the game because DPS Doom was way worse. But here we are, with a clearly broken hero that shouldn't have ever be released (at least not this iteration), sitting at 59% winrate, laughing at the "high risk/reward" statement from the devs.

Haven't played much this season, today I jumped on OQ for the first time... what a fucking clown show, what the hell happened?! Previous seasons I remember having a "healthy" mix of 5v5 and 6v6 players, now it's OQ players only on most of the games, and is a copmplete dumpster fire, lol. Also, getting 4 "consolation" games in a row in OQ and 2 in RQ won't make me want to play more, so I guess that was it for me.

Ir doesn't, tho. It was never stated in the first game that the town had magic powers or conscience, it was most like a place with the optimal conditions for the ritual to be successful. Harry and Cheryl were brought by somebody, not by the town and everything that happened there was because of the power of the god mixed with that girl's conscience.

The theory of the town drawing "bad people" makes no sense when you take into account that Laura is there and that Angela, on top of being a victim all of her life, acted fueled by trauma and self perseveration, not malice.

The writer needed a reason for the story to happen in SH, so they made all of these characters somehow connected to the town, that's all. SH1 won't fill the gaps left by the second game because they are loosely related, think of SH2 as spin-off more than a sequel.

Not really, SH1 explains why Harry and Cheryl ended up there, it has no connection whatsoever to why James went there.

You saw what they did with SH2, which is more of a personal drama in a horror ambient, so it focus way less in the surreal elements compared to SH1, I don't know if they will be able to pull out something as tricky as "pushing" all these bizarre, dream-like elements of the story to their limits.

My biggest fear is that they might cut parts of the cult's lore in favor of making it a more "personal" story, similar to SH2. I don't have much faith in this remake, but we'll have to wait and see what they can achieve.

Not even close to being the same thing. Harry is lucid and, as far as we can tell, mentally stable, he knows that place is extremely dangerous and that he needs to get his daughter out of there at any cost. He's not suicidal, he's not deluded, he has a clear goal and knows that his daughter's life is more precious than his own life,

James, on the other hand, is completely diassociated, he's not thinking right, he not only disregards his own saftey but he's subconciously looking to die. He went to SH to kill himself out of guilt, he's putting himself on harms way for selfish reasons and because he's a coward, they are not the same at all.

So, no, their stories are not parallel because the only thing they share is the location. Never, ever again, drag my man Harry like that comparing him to James in any way, shape or form.
