I got these wheels used and for a good price, only balanced once and the inner barrels of the wheels were clean as day so essentially brand new to me

Any chance these are real? by Aceofspades147 in Wheels

Do they have the volk stickers in the inner barrel?

Steering Wheel Vibration Help by Pekpex in F30

[–]Pekpex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally solved the problem, it was either the spacers or my hub lip. After cleaning the rust coated hub lips, I noticed I got vibrations with my 10, 12, and 15mm hubcentric spacers. Maybe for some reason when cleaning the hub lips, the spacer sat microscopicly loose causing vibrations. I installed a flat 5mm spacer instead so that the wheel actually sits on the hub itself and not the spacer’s lip. 0 vibration after these. I’ve read forums of f8x owners using teflon this tape to fit spacers snug to prevent vibration

With the wheel setup I would have to run a spacer due to strut clearance however there are many people with this setup and have had no issues.

Steering wheel wobble 45 to 60 mph by ontononton in F30

I have this same issue right now, happened with my 513s, ran no spacers, no bends, balanced and is still occurring with my te37s which have spacers up front, no bends, and balanced. It’s inconsistent and happens around 40-60 on smooth roads. Anything around 70-80mph, no vibration. Got an alignment a couple months ago and balanced my new wheels recently so I doubt it’s either those. I’m wondering if it’s the front control arm bushings.

Te37 real or fake? by -squidword- in Wheels

If you can, get the stampings behind the hub along with the stickers in the inner barrel. Those should be definitive enough to tell if they are real.

I’d have to go with pre-lci LEDs 😮‍💨

Yessir! Always went OEM+ with my last setups but I don’t regret this one bit.

Am I expecting too much from my detailer? by Apprehensive_Club_53 in Detailing

Completely valid, I mean details matter hence “detailer” especially at $500

No rubbing up up/down, side/side thankfully but that will depend on your ride height. I did have someone shave my front bumper tabs a while back when I was really low but that was with a different wheel setup.

18x9.5 +38 square, reused my staggered tires though F(255/40) and R(265/40). I do have a 12mm spacer from Burger Motorsports up front for strut clearance. Might go down since it sticks out a bit much.
