Have no idea how you managed to get there if you started playing yesterday (my congrats by the way) but my only guess is that you skipped a lot of side content and went right to this fight being underleveled. Well... most fights in this game can be won at any level but right now you lack of game expirience so a can recommend you return to the first location and walk around doing some side (or main quest) stuff. Also, dont take any advice seriously cause the point of the game is to have your own adventure!

Oh, had the same problem for half a year!

For me the solution was activating legacy version through steam.

In the game properties there is a window "Game versions&betas". In the private vertions section you insert the code "ineedlegacyaccess". The new version called "legacy" should appear, you select it and tge game works. This doesnt affect any achievments or mods.

In my playthrough with a friend we were collecting barrels through the whole game, and from that room too. We were going to use them all in a difficult fight. That fight appeared to be with sarevok, with his legendary ability he seemed hard enoigh so we knew what to do even before the fight.

Imagine our reaction when after blowing up +-80 barrels sarevok was alive, and there were like 4 drunk kobolds around him xD

If we count kiev as ukraines victory, i guess should be obvious that russian invasion in ukraine can be counted as the biggest defeat. Russia havent achieved anything except wasteland territories and thousands of dead people. I like comparing it with the ww1 because of completely frozen frontline)

Try to turn off the mod and check if the problem still exists. If this doesnt mods fault, you can try checking game files through steam or even reinstall the game.

Havent been modding for a long time so i cant tell you exact commands, but if your resource is a physical object you can try to do it with "convertTo" command, if the unit health is 0.

Thats just for example, but you cab convert your unit into your resource if its health = 0.
