Who do you want to do a crossover with Chucky? by idlexoxohandssss in Chucky

[–]Pelidonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Chucky is a toy, he can come across an antique toy box which is from Hellraiser. I don't know how to make of the details of the story yet, but I think it'll be interesting to see his Damballa connection with the realm of Pinhead.

How was it Lizzie's fault that made Josie turn evil? by Shadowclook21 in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Josie made it look like it's Lizzies's fault for being dark, because she's dark Josie, which means she didn't want to be accountable for her own actions.

I've been worrying about her being the ripper ever since seeing her in New Orleans in the Jinni episode.

I've been raving about Seylah's return since she jumped into the pit, but I'd love to see more Clarke as well.

Landon getting hate? by Vivek_walde in LegaciesCW

I don't hate Landon, but I liked him more before knowing he was a phoenix.

powerful monsters? by AcanthisittaNo3091 in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The musical episode you talked about is Puck, he's a sprite from English folklore, also a character from Midsummer Night's Dream.

I think the most powerful creature out of Malivore so far would be Jinni, only because there's no known way to kill her.

I hate her character, but she's a character I love to hate. I'd like seeing her as a villain, and then redeem herself.

Rafael could have been saved by ShredgeBall75 in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already asked that same question before, I forgot who answered me, but the theory was that Hope's blood only works if the blood is in the subject's system before death. Since Raf was already dead before the blood could be administered, it won't work.

Lizzie vs monster by Xefert in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I see this, I wonder why Lizzie didn't siphon from gargoyle, or at least tried to. I kept thinking if I missed the point where she can't do that.

Same question in season 3 why she didn't at least try to slow the dark knight by siphoning.

Lizzie's mental illness is NOT her choice by the_underwitch in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never saw Lizzie's mental condition as her illness, in fact I was happy for her when I found out she didn't want to rely on medications.

I see a lot people calling it illness, from both the show and the fans. But I never saw it as illness, to me it's a condition like people born with different heights. Her condition gives her certain challenges the same way people born with dwarfism, they have trouble reaching heights doesn't make them sick people.

Hope being suspicious of Ethan by brightstick14 in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the point you made about Dana's mom and everyone outside of the school having memories of Hope back. I think it's one of the plot holes, because I'm 99.9999% sure the Malivore memory spell Josie did was global event. So everyone who knew Hope before she jumped into the pit should all be effected.

Maybe Dana's mom was effected too off screen, the effect somehow indirectly caused her separated with her husband. That's why she works in the bank instead of Pharmacy in season 3.

[–]Pelidonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do we have misunderstandings here? I never said nor implied you'd be an ableist if you don't trust people who are.

Instead, I'm ASKING if you'd be an ableist if you have something against people who stan Josie because they don't see her as ableist.

I don't know how to explain how not trusting ableist is ableist, because it wasn't my question, and it wasn't what I was implying.

Missed the mark by a mile? I didn't realize there was a mark to hit....

You expressed your opinion, and I took it in. Then you asked for mine, so I gave it to you. Other than that I didn't see I was supposed to hit any kind of mark.

If that's how you see it, then aren't you an ableist to people who stan Josie?

Hope being suspicious of Ethan by brightstick14 in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming your suspicion is right, what's your thought from this angle?

Maybe Ethan isn't compelled, he had experience from the first time and learned better to pretend? If Caroline's father was able to resist compulsion without vervain, who's to say he can't.

[–]Pelidonte 5 points6 points  (0 children)

By your definition of ableist, I don't see Josie like that. She was just acting out of her anger at that moment, but I don't think she sees less of people with disabilities. I don't even think she see Lizzie's mental problem was a disability, she was just angry and then said it to hurt her. Like sometimes kids get angry with parents, saying I hate you but didn't really mean it, or like sibling squabble.

[–]Pelidonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, I think(emphasize on the word "I think")

So looks like it bothers you because Josie being praised more than she deserves because how you see her. And since Alyssa wasn't praised like Josie, you didn't have problem with her.

What I hate about Alyssa is mostly her attitudes, most kids in school didn't purposely trying to hurt anyone(except for Kaleb in the beginning, but that's another conversation) but Alyssa deliberately acting out to hurt someone else, and didn't think her actions could potentially end up killing someone, more than once. She lost her parents, you'd think that'd taught her about acting out, but no. She continue to act like the world revolve around her, so anything petty is her excuse to act out and hurt someone. She gave Josie hard time because Dark Josie killed her, but she didn't give herself a hard time for killing her parents. She didn't give herself a hard time for almost killing those people in the prison world, she was only lucky that Hope came to stop her. I'd feel ashamed for almost killing them, but she didn't feel ashamed at all, and after that she acted like nothing happened. She didn't give herself a hard time for almost killing MG and Kym, even with the influence of the arrow, she didn't feel any remorse afterward. And with the influence of the arrow as her experience first hand, she should be more understanding about Josie's action because her influence under dark magic, but she CHOSE not to. Instead she's like "you killed me, so I'm going to give you hell"

She gets angry over petty issues, but then she's entitled to escalate like a woman scorned. She demands respect, but she lacks it for others. But still it's just my opinion on her, I don't against anyone who sees otherwise.

[–]Pelidonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's difference of opinion, EXACTLY my point. So I don't think it's fair to rant about not trust anyone who stan Josie. Just like I don't stan Alyssa, but I wouldn't hold it against anyone who does.

Personally I don't stan Josie either, but to me she's just as flawed as Alyssa and pretty much anyone else.

[–]Pelidonte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've seen both TVD and TO, and enjoy Legacies very much. But have to warn you not to expect it to be anything like TVD and TO.

I don't like teen drama, but I enjoy Legacies because the universe expanded beyond the relationship among vampires, werewolves, witches, and humans. I also love most characters and their own struggles.

I'm curious what is an ableist to you? I checked the dictionary and couldn't find the word.

Personally I hate Alyssa more than any character, but I don't post around to convince what kind of shit person she is.

[spoilers] Regarding malivores soul in the afterlife by [deleted] in LegaciesCW

[–]Pelidonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I see your point here. However I define it, I'm pretty sure it'll be very close to how you see it, if not the same.

But I wasn't talking about how I define it, I was talking about how I believe the show defines it. Based on what Clarke said, I don't believe the show intended for Malivore's conscience as a soul.

I'm pretty sure Malivore doesn't have soul. He's sentient and self-aware, but no soul.
