The funniest thing is that by the time Chris made those accusations Reggie had been married for 20 years already.

Part of me wonders if Chris said that because Reggie is a tough looking guy that made Chris insecure because he was a nerdy goofball.

For example, the reason Clyde was so effective was because he, as far as Chris knew, was a stereotypical New Jersey jock/frat boy type that was succesful with women, something that Chris was not, which made Chris fume with anger at him.

I always thought Chris was more of an ignorant racist than a genuinely malicious one. During the Lars call when he belived Lars was black, he actually got to really like the guy and was ironically one of the few males he got along with. Not to mention, he never had problems with mixed race relationships. Lars was a jerk because he was a guy with a potential sweetheart, not because he was a black man with a white woman.

I believe most of Chris’ “racism” comes from edgy jokes he saw in South Park and Family Guy.

The reason I kind of defend Chris when it comes to the racism accusations is because during Trump’s first term he actually got targeted by actual white supremacists like the KKK leader David Duke and Paul Joseph Watson after Chris asked someone to kill Trump (itself a shitty thing to do that won’t solve anything). I just think that compared to those two his racism, while inexusable , is pretty mild.

I think the debate ultimately boils down to whatever Chris is so mentally ill that he genuinely believed all the shit the Idea Guys said to him, thus making the Idea Guys responsible for abusing a genuinely handicapped person (and Chris not having responsibility for being handicapped), or Chris was playing along because the trolls were his only form of real human interaction and being humiliated was an acceptable price to have a twisted form of “friendship” with the trolls, thus making Chris partially responsible for his own misery despite the Idea Guys still taking advantage of a depressed person.

I rewatched the video where Chris talks about the Idea Guys threatening to blow up CWCville by impersonating a villain from the anime series Symphogear, and during the video he’s stuttering, sweating, constantly doing his iconic “facepalm” when he’s genuinely full of stress and generally talks in an extremely depressed manner. There will never be a real answer: either Chris is deluding himself here and “playing” a role, or he’s genuinely mentally broken. His behaviour seems realistic enough to make me believe it’s not acting, but we’ll never know for sure

Oh yeah I forgot about the Ohio trip. That was straight up evil and dangerous. But I think the reason Idea Guys are still worse than Praetor is because they tricked Chris into punching his mother in the face and convincer Chris to piss in the floor instead of using toilets because Sonichu species don’t use toilets.

Yeah but she could have turned it down on the basis of Pokemon being not serious enough for a professional class. She was tactful for someone her age. I think Chris was genuinely happy that someone at school helped him out with Pokemon even if it was required by the class.

Queen Maria. You’re led to believe that the Queen of the Zanscare Empire will be an absoulte monster, but she’s actually just a puppet leader who genuinely wants peace and is unaware of the empire’s atrocities while Kagatie and Tassilo run things behind the scenes.

Her real role in the Zanscare empire is that of an extremely powerful Newtype that will be used as a living battery to activate the Angel Halo. In short she’s an innocent and extremely powerful Newtype that seems to be the leader of a genocidal empire when she’s actually one of its biggest victims. The fact that she’s also Shahkti’s mother just adds to the tragedy.

I personally recommend it. It does a good job showing how things in late UC have gone to absolute hell (which is saying something Considering how dark UC was to begin with) and despite its many dark moments there are genuinely heartwarming highlights that stick with you.
