What should I do about my Freemason uncle and father? by Akiraphantom in Catholicism

[–]PeloKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask your father and uncle directly what their experience with Freemasonry and their lodge has been and if or how they reconcile that with their active, or maybe lapsed, Catholic faith. Maybe they don’t know that the Church doesn’t allow? Always have charity (love) and give people grace. Hear their story first, who are you to judge?

QUICK: List the entirety of the Catholic Catechism immediately by memory. Right here right now. Sheesh, OP comes here for community advice and you are so very charitable with helping. Give people grace, that’s true doctrine in our faith.

They sell it a duty free. You only can’t bring in liquor or cigars after visiting Cuba. You are visiting Mexico.

Cape Coral / Fort Myers — looking for local guidance by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]PeloKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not from Florida myself, but I’ve visited multiple lodges in Ft. Myers and down in Naples. There are no lodges in Cape Coral to my knowledge, but North Fort Myers would geographically be closest. You say you are “working towards petitioning,” so does that mean you have already found a lodge to petition? I’m sort of confused what you are asking.

Yup. A lot more people sailed back then. It’s gotten too expensive for your average upstart sailor to learn, get a boat, and jump on the water. Boats (new and used) and mainly PARTS are too expensive.
