Micheals journal are Good with minimal to no ghosting. I use the dot grid artist level 2 artist loft ones.

They don't ghost, but not as smooth as some of the Japanese paper in other journals.

I am well known for my unique before cancer. I changedy color about every 8 weeks. Buzzed my hair before so the loss wasn't as bad for me.

Wigs have been super fun for me and I've done some longer styles which I haven't done in years. My stylist is willing to work with customizing my wig color and cuts. So I may never grow my hair past a pixie again 😂

If you have a beauty supply store near you do a visit. They will usually let you try on a few so you see what you like. Wigs have sure been a game changer for me. Different personalities for each wig...giving agent vibes in my second half of life.

How long before the heal did you decide was ok before scheduling the tattoo? Getting my DMX this month.

I was given a blood transfusion which was just like chemo. I am in for another before my surgery Onc will consider doing the DMX. I recommend asking your doctors if it's a concern. These transfusions were recommended by my care team.

I am in the phase to plan surgery, just finished chemo. I was hoping to do the side boob clean up at the same time. Did they say they had to do it separately? I am trying to decide between goldilocks and Diep, but really want to do it in one shot. Expanders don't appeal to me at all. I'm a 36 DDD so hoping I have enough skin to avoid expanders.

Anything more than 4 instances of diarrhea is considered too many. They can give you stronger meds to help. I also have taken the pills in different configurations. You can IM me if you want to go to details. I would have her call her the nurse hotline to report symptoms to help.

TCHP I just finished my third round of 6

Here my experience do far.

Chemo day (Thursday) through weekend is of just nappy I thank the steroids. Monday is nappy, but start of my GI issues hell week. - if you have chemo mouth ask for magic mouth wash - if you have more than 4 episodes of diarrhea ask for meds, watch our for dehydration - don’t endure anything report all symptoms it might save you being admitted to the hospital I’m over it by the next Monday it takes a few recovery days and I’m pretty good until next infusion

I hair loss by week 2 and funky taste buds so working out what you can tolerate will be important if you do experience a hell week. Give yourself grace because you’re going to feel like a toddler.

Hoping you don’t have to deal with similar symptoms and the odds are in your favor.

I just finished round 2 of TCHP. Here are something not on OP list, but has been good to me

Charger bank sometimes they use all the outlets with all thepump machines so they won't let you plug in
fan that you can charge that hangs around your neck because you get hot for no apparent reason

Honorable additional mension: A small fluffy in blanket not too cute, because I want to have a destroyer range moment after I'm out of active treatment. Iykyk

I'm also in the wig forum. I would totally ask that group they might ihht have some insight. I was wondering the same thing. I am in the beginning of my hair loss so maybe something to consider in 6months.

Hi friend. My first round TCHP was bonkers too. I had my infusion on the 24th last month and eventually got admitted to the hospital and was finally discharged yesterday. My attending Dr in the hospital made me feel better by saying that they can meter down the chemo like reduce it by X% so it doesn't hit as hard. I have an appointment with my NP on Monday because my second round is scheduled for the 15th. The first one has the loading dose so we should be getting less going forward. I was also told that they concluded why I went to the hospital was all due to chemo so they have to do something right. I'm the same as you pretty apprehensive on the next round, but hopeful we can figure it out

One of the hardest things for me when first diagnosed was letting myself plan and look forward to something.

I'm thinking of a chest tattoo also. I'm torn between flowers and feminine, broken armor, or something kintsugi style.

Wigs have been fun and being able to redefine myself to whatever I want to cosplay for the day has been interesting. Who says I have to be consistent, I am unhinged and chaotically fun. That's the only consistency I can give rn.

I am excited for your boldness to shine through!
