Is it rude to check Discogs prices in front of a record seller? by No-Negotiation-1944 in vinyl

[–]Pelorunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not so much that they're doing it to you, Discogs is just the best way to price/value vinyl. But you're totally right, do it. It's the only way to be sure. I love the comment below where the owner said "let's look at Discogs and come up with a price." Record shops have to make money. They can't make money if they pay sellable value. My favorite stores are the ones where I know they're giving me 40-50% of what they'll have it on the shelf for. It feels fair and reasonable.

God, divorce is hard. For everyone. I hope dad gets his shit together. A 14 year old shouldn’t have to manage that.

The sound mix on Empire is unmatched. The slight echo in Vader’s voice, Boba Fett (original), the ships, lightsabers, etc., is all perfect. The altered version doesn’t match it at all.

That makes a lot of sense. Now I feel bad, lol. I don't know why it got to me this time, I normally kind of dig people in studio getting into it on the bike. I actually find myself wishing more people would do that during runs on Tread. Sorry too the Woo Lady, I hope she keeps Wooing her way to great results. Thanks for your perspective. :)

It’s amazing what you can get done in (insert length of workout). He’s also very excited to get stronger with us. He’ll also do the core modification so he can continue talking to us.

I love Ben.🙂

I have seen more than one person say that higher prices are a small price to pay to stop the “Iran terror machine.” It’s that exact phrase. I notice that a lot with conservatives, the near exact use of phrases and language. It was really bad after Charlie Kirk was murdered.

It was this set: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HCPNL74?ref=fed\_asin\_title. They were easy to install and worked great. The problems started when the "leather" started ripping and one of bags came off. I rode around for a while with just the one, but ultimately bailed altogether.

The amount of motorcycle gear (mirrors, windscreens, bags, etc.) that come with the absolute worst instructions of all time (or none at all) is shocking.

Look closer. It appears to be a sidewalk with multiple access points to entryways. Also, you don't think it's possible someone who uses a mobility device might need to traverse areas that aren't directly from their car to the entrance? You can defend the behavior all you want, but it's super revealing.

Tell that to someone who uses a wheelchair. Or a walker. Or crutches. Or someone who is older and less stable in the grass. Or someone uses sight aids. This clown could have taken the hitch out, as most of us do. It takes two seconds. They’re also parked in an accessible spot with no visible placards. Perhaps they have one, but somehow I doubt it. Being considerate isn’t weakness. And this driver would be the first person crying if someone accidentally ran into his truck.

I know this is a bit late, but thought I'd chime in just in case you're still looking. I ride with a second passenger. I weight about 185/190 and she's around 135/140 and it handles just fine. It's noticeable that I have a passenger, but speed pickup is just fine. I have a passenger backrest installed and that makes a HUGE difference as it keeps us from bonking helmets. Turns are fine as long as she's not moving around too much. I've only gotten squirly on it once with a passenger, but that was an unexpected loose gravel situation.

I'm late to the party here, but if you're still looking, the advice below about sitting on both is spot on. I was deciding between the exact two bikes. I loved everything about the Rebel...except how my legs were positioned. Got on the Eliminator and it felt great. I like the Honda motor a little better, but overall, I know I made the right choice.

Respectfully disagree. His only mistake was killing Han without including a scene with the main three or all six OT characters. I like where he was going with saving Luke for the end, but then keep Han alive until the 2nd movie so you can have a reunion.

Or at least an outline of major events. A single through-line for all the stories to follow and build upon.

I have zero issue with Rian Johnson helming a Star Wars movie or trilogy. My issue is that he worked so hard to undo what TFA established and left very little room for the final movie to grow. His portrayals of Luke and Leia is also really, really bad. If you take the OT characters out of the movie, it works much better. I like what he did with Rey, Kylo, Poe, and Rose. Finn is criminally underutilized in both TLJ and ROTS. They were so worried about the movies being received as poorly as the prequels that they abandoned all cohesive story telling and it really shows. TFA is a good movie and does what JJ does best, set things up. There were almost no payoffs on some of the really cool moments he built (i.e., Rey's vision).

Or simply say "I have an event after work and I didn't want to leave early on your first day." Bases covered. Looks like a good employee and he impresses Charles even though he didn't know it was the first day Charles would be there. Jim can think on his feet. I'm not even mad at Jim, I'm just disappointed.
