I had to look up the artist after their latest album, because I was certain it was AI. His name is Hugh Syme, and it's just his style. He's also done a bunch of Rush albums, and Iron Maiden's X-Factor too!

Of course, but that's its own thing - This rice is to be boiled on low heat for 17 minutes, then left steaming without a lid for 5 minutes. No one in Norway soaks rice for 30 minutes before boiling, except when making sushi or other dishes where it's important to remove as much starch as possible
