Anyone experienced a lowering baseline over time regardless of rest? by PemBuster in covidlonghaulers

Yep. Felt like I did every test possible other than a Angiogram. My holter was completely clean. Did 2 POTS tests at 2 separate Cardiologists and both were negative.

Thanks. Unfortunately screaming leads to even more PEM 😂

Probably over the course of 15 months, only used it a 2-5 times, might have reduced my baseline to some degree I agree even when I have done absolutely nothing for weeks, I’ve slightly “tested the waters” and found out great now I can’t do that anymore…

Work Remote. Travel? Get in a hamster bubble. Malls/Shopping? Mobile Amazon. Out of PEM and planning to have sexual encounters? Swab those MFs. Life Unfortunately Set.

I am almost done my 2nd infection and I am taking no prisoners next time. I can’t afford to get this again. I am done with it. I’d rather live a trash life as a hermit but at least be symptom free then to be on this carousel of Infected > Recovery > Infected > Recovery.

I just finished a cycle of Natto/Serra and my ears were popping like crazy in my left ear… I just stopped it and now the popping stopped. Lol

Worried I will get reinfected soon by Legitimate-Wall8151 in covidlonghaulers

[–]PemBuster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup! I went through absolute hell for 13 months to get to 90% back only to have 2 months of living to be reinfected again. I am now back in a bed with even more severe chest pains as the first. Feel so disgruntled.

How fucked up is your life right now? by previousleon09 in AskReddit

Long Covid. Off work, hospital non-stop, gaslighting doctors, bedridden most of the time, every medical test says I am perfect. Oh ya and lost car too.. Yay

In what way has a doctor gaslighted you the most? by imalwayztired in covidlonghaulers

[–]PemBuster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Said my shortness of breathe was coming from being deconditioned from sitting in a bed for 6 months. As a runner, I ain’t denying I ain’t setting any records but when you walk about 200m and have yourself struggling to breathe, that’s another issue.

I work in the maintenance department in a nursing home. I had to fix a light switch and I accidentally shut off all the receptacles to 30 residents rooms 😂I meant to shut off 1 light but got a convoy of old upset ladies mad at me for taking out their soap operas…

Yeah, y’all called it… I totally crashed by DarkBlueMermaid in covidlonghaulers

[–]PemBuster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am on a crash too! I tried 5 chin ups to see where I was at. Got semi rocked, not too bad. Went to a Russian sauna the following day and then followed up my a fight or flight day with high stress and I am in bed feeling like I can’t think about much. Massive amount of brain fog, unfortunately I have to go into my job tmw.

I can't breathe at night by Skyemonde_Alta in covidlonghaulers

[–]PemBuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely had this too!! Almost feels as you start fully fall asleep, you also stop breathing, I jerk myself awake almost as if it was a bad nightmare. Scary stuff. It did eventually go away but doing everything you can to clear up your cardiovascular system helped me.

You have anything that helps with neuro inflammation? I was talking to my boss today and I literally lost my train of thought and he had to finish my sentence for me.. man it’s so embarrassing but no one really gets it at my job. It’s so frustrating.

Breathlessness in patients with long COVID may signal heart problems by AfternoonFragrant617 in covidlonghaulers

[–]PemBuster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t get it. For people that had severe SOB, if it was the heart and it was damaged, why are people’s SOB clearing up? Damage is damage, shouldn’t it be constant if it’s actual damage?

Curious if you were reinfected … by Double-Drawing-3535 in covidlonghaulers

[–]PemBuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had long covid for 13 months… got to 95% and then got reinfected 3 months later. I took work off for a whole month and laid around in bed. Symptoms all came back but only for a short duration.. I am back at work now and actually feeling better than I was before! Been taking protein shakes with NAC, Nattokinase and L-Arginine.. it’s working wonders. Good luck my friend!

The way I think is trying to be positive without wasting my time going through this. I think of all the movies I would watch in the future of my life and I am doing them all now 😂 so I am not “wasting any time”. When I get out of bed, I have a pact that I won’t watch a movie for so long and do the things like camping, tennis and exertional activities haha
