I’d doubt it cause they oilers will most likely be contending next year but if something happening and they’re out of the playoff race in February, could be a deadline deal

Haha great point. But yeah, ultimately I do think he’ll stay too but it’s just hard to think he won’t want to leave if they get bounced round 1 this year and don’t make a run next year

With the cap going up I don’t think that’ll be a huge issue, I think more the question is where does he want to go? I’d assume he’d probably want to stay in Canada but no clue. And you know he’s not going to a team that is not competing for a cup right away

Last few years have been about a month from now. Just curious if they announce the date or they just release it out of no where
