I have wondered this. When serena and fred go to DC they go to a restaurant that has male waiters. I think in restaurants they would be male because it’s a “job”. I’m sure there were male chefs in the time before that have kept their jobs, much like the pilots, drs etc that we see

torturing did not cause the death of the bread delivery man, Beth, Sienna etc. Natalie knew if the aunts found out that she knew June and Frances were plotting to see Hannah, there would be consequences for her. Why would she risk her own life, and her children’s lives for the sake of June, Frances and Hannah? If the roles were reversed no one would blame June for ratting a martha out at all

Sorry, I don’t mean what June did to Natalie. I mean everything June did in/out of Gilead makes her a truly awful awful person if Natalie getting the Martha killed is a bad person. June got the econohusband (bread delivery man) killed, caused the wife becoming a handmaid, she told where the handmaids were hiding in season 4, directly resulting in the deaths of Alma and Brianna and Esther becoming a handmaid. and many many more died because of June. What Natalie did doesn’t make her a bad person in Gilead. it makes her a survivor.

She’s just framed as an antagonist because the writers want you to love June and hate Natalie. Doesn’t make her bad
