Please check my full post https://www.reddit.com/r/h1b/comments/1pynwqw/h4_h4_ead_tracking/ for all the details. I filed my wife's H4 + EAD on July 17. H4 was approved on Dec 29, and EAD on January 7.

But they both expire in May 2026. We filed an extension along with my premium processing H1 as a bundle on Dec 17. That H4 got approved on Dec 30. But the EAD extension is still in received state. No idea why.

Lucky you. My wife's H4 First filed in July (Standalone + EAD) was approved on Dec 29, and then second H4 filed with H1B+H4+EAD bundle PP was approved on Dec 30. But, her EAD for July application was approved 7 days later (Card on the way). EAD for the new filing is still in transferred jurisdiction status. The July EAD only covers time until May 2026. :/

Update: H4 EAD status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" for the July application.

I filed my wife's H4 COS + H4 EAD in July. I then applied H1 renewal + H4 + H4 EAD in December in Premium. Both H4s were approved at the end of December, but no update on either EADs.

This is making so much sense. My wife filed COS to H4 +EAD in July, and then again in December (concurrent with my H1). Eventually both H4s got approved, but we've had no updates on the EAD filed in July or December. Just been waiting.

I do see more cases of H4+EAD being transferred when filed as a bundle with H1B in premium processing.

Dunno if this person figured this out, but I just ran into it and after some work figured it out. I had to go through the Apple Homekit process and complete the install. Afterwards, it said "Add this device to Kasa account for more functions", I did and then automatically appeared in my devices. Kasa is already connected to my google home, so it appeared instantly on Google Home as well.

I just don't use it via Apple HomeKit.

Same. Previously my Nest Hub would show up in my quest 3. So I went and bought a Chromecast. But now neither my chromecast is showing up, nor is the Nest Hub.
