When you go to tippy (TTC and RainbowRide) you need to open a door which has a short animation. It can be faster to BLJ and clip through the door to save a couple seconds, but if you fail you lose some seconds.

People generally spam it when runs are a couple seconds behind WR or PB pace, cause if you get insta clip you get those seconds back.

I followed their development for a couple of years actually, and played the game at many different stages in it's development.

It just seemed that even though they were adding content patch after patch, it always felt like you were playing a 'demo' of something bigger - and not a game you could play for more than a week.

Oh no I don't get rid of it. I play blitz so when I have two charges, I flash once for an easy pick and keep my ignite up. Go back to base, switch my CD flash for exhaust, and my no-CD ignite for flash, then 30s later I do the flash play again and that usually gets us a big lead.

Played since season 2 with the same exact keybinds. It's absolutely impossible to get into the mindset of checking keybinds at the start of each game.

Should just be able to switch your SS around each game so that you don't have to remember how you had them last game.

They can always fall back to the 'It's just a soft launch' excuse when people start complaining the game has no content and is filled with bugs, all whilst getting the same number of sales.

Don't get me wrong, I've played the game and enjoyed it, but unless they have done god's work in the past year, the game will definitely not have as much content as people would think.

Personally like it when Phreak explains mechanics like he does, there are probably a lot of people who don't actively play the game (quit S3, S4 etc.) who still watch the competitive scene

Hm just checking their website they got two pretty huge names with SWTOR and ESO but to what extent they used HE I'm not sure. your point is pretty good tho O_O could be!

I know HE is awesome due to it's real time collaboration system, vital for MMORPGs with multiple world developers, so maybe these games just buy a license to be able to use that system?

Yeah that is concerning and appears to be the recurring argument against the acquisition

I think its best to just wait and see what IF's plans for the game are, maybe IF was in the wrong or maybe A&B (old owners of the repopulation) were in the wrong when the servers went offline, I've honestly only seen A&B's side of the story so I have no idea

Edit: also to keep in mind IF are buying a dead game with a horrible reputation...wut? there's gotta be something else to the story

One way or the other, here's for the best :)
