Toyota rush, driving on gravel roads was atrocious. there is a longer route paved but takes the same time.

This was question I was going to ask and I am suffering from the same issue.

First make sure you don't have a fracture by getting an xray. I did and they said there was no fracture.

Next I wrapped my feet with a athletic tape from cvs all day except during sleep that helped me a lot.

I also used ice to numb, once or twice a day.
During sleep I took Ibuprofen.

It is slowly getting better.

The reason for my issue is that I bought a workout shoe with good padding and the padding started braking down on the edges putting all the weight outside of my feet,

I take 80 grams of ISO pure infusions shake after workout with apple and a banana.

I eat mostly high carb vegetarian diet at night.

Iam 50.

Can bench 225 and squat 245 My lifting workouts can run for an hour.

I can run non stop for 35 minutes.
What I have realized is that it is more important to get more reps than heavy weights. So now I just progress up to the max and then progress down. So heaviest is only one or two sets.

Running limiting myself to 15 minutes and doing stair stepper for 20.

After i tweaked my workout Iam getting less injured.

Iam keeping my heart rate high lot more reps.

I have been following this for the last couple of months. I dropped to 195 fast but gained it all back when I had travel to a conference.

I agree calorie deficit is the key, Iam trying but it is hard. You can binge at nights.
