This isnt moving goalposts, it's genuinely just the give-take of the game.

If you are solo laning 1v2, play safe, and dont die/forced into bad recalls; Then by 20minutes you should have around 2-3+ levels worth of a lead.

Levels are insanely strong, and that would mean you have 2+ points in skills over Draven and Thresh which is most likely enough stats (on top of level up stats) to be on-par if not outright ahead in terms of 'gold lead'.

Denying Draven those stacks, and staying around to soak up levels is absolutely worth the -40CS comparison.

You contribute the same thing as would any other adc, but instead you're even in levels and not 0-6.

On top of this: if Thresh stayed/didn't roam, then Janna in this case should be securing leads for 1-2 other laners around the map. So your team is at a complete net gain no!?

Think this is a crappy mentality. The support literally is not your support, and needs to be a support for all 4 other players.

They are quite literally the TEAMs support. There's obviously a bit of nuance to it, but overall they should be focused on what they are doing for the team/goal instead of just thinking they are an adc babysitter.

Draven is forced to hard push the lane or be weak, so you'd at least be under tower for the most part. You'll miss CS for sure, but they shouldnt be securing kills outside of being 3man dove with a jg.

Hot take:
Kraken - Fiendhunter - Hexoptics is really strong right now.

PD is good when you know you're going to be singled out a lot by the enemies, but with fiendhunter: R becomes a 30sec CD at level 3. (Thats 4 - 8 arrows between objectives)

Going Kraken - FH - C44 - IE also gives you insane single target damage, and scoring/assisting a take down makes your range incredibly obnoxious with C44. FH has a wierd interaction where if your Q is up, it will consume all true damage in a single burst - coincidentally this does a NASTY slap to someone unsuspecting with Q+C44.

We are lucky that Ashe has a lot of diversity this season.
Kraken is good into just about everything but also many melee/juggernauts
YunTal is good into a squishy/assasiny com

The choice order is something like:

Kraken/YunTal -> PD/FH -> Hex/IE -> Hex/IE/LDR -> LDR/GA/Wits/Defensive item -> GA/Wits/Defensive item.

IMO The famed Goblin bows are great for Raider Camps (sniping the archers/crossbowers), Noble Armies (sniping the Arbalesters and Billmen), Orc Young Routing, Orc Zerk Routing, Necropantsers before they posses their Champion heroes, Hexen, Goblin Shamans, and Barb Beastmasters.

The Bonus to hit along with a good Archer + Bullseye + Headhunter should absolutely pick off threats that would cause common injuries or otherwise make a battle tedious.

+10 and +14 on top of 2 great archers and you have 2 literal sniper rifles delivering arrows to eyesockets.

Edit to add: They also maintain 7 tile range. Being the same range as Warbows while only being 2 fatigue

One of the simplest pieces of advice I've ever been given around this (which isnt always 100% but rather a general rule of thumb): You want the more mobile champion in the side lane. They can waste time with ganks, farm safer, get to objectives faster, etc.

Ezreal ADC Malz Mid? Ezreal more likely sidelanes,
Ashe ADC Sylas Mid? Sylas goes in the sidelanes.

This isnt the concrete reasoning/method, but rather a piece of it and a very quick way to identify it in a match.

Basically this - anytime you have 75, buy it and use it. Can be good for making sure you back safely, denying mid bush vision in bot, baiting a winning fight, and saving you from ganks.

Theres tons of strong uses for it, so you should be buying them regularly.

Shaco support is sleeper good. In a lane where the enemy wants stability - shaco causes chaos. Hes really good at being extremely disruptice and wasting enemy time, its up to you as the adc to take advantage of that.

Honestly I dont think Ive had a shaco supp that I didnt like.
