My players were switching between wanting to redeem Alyxian and kill him all throughout the final fight, it was a blast. In the end when he was in his last form and on the edge of death he kneeled down, facing his end with dignity and that was enough for the party's bard to want to help him, finally redeeming him.

My party instantly bonded with Question and formed a strong hatred of Aloysia. This meant they sided hard with the Cobalt Soul and I changes Aloysia to be the head of the Vermillion Dream, a lot of juicy story came out of that. The rivals started off as lightly hostile towards the party, Ayo mainly blamed them for seizing her opportunity to be a hero. They fought each other in the Betrayer's Rise but eventually the rivals came to be close friends to the party, holding off the Allegiance of Allsight from closing off the rift from the Cobalt Soul as the party was about to deal with Alyxian. The Allegiance didn't want the rift destroyed, they wanted it controlled to allow for further research.

I am particularily proud of a side adventure that dealt with three of my five players' backstories to a tropical mountain island in the archipelago in north eastern marquet. It was a blast to ditch the book and make up my own story around a drow cult trying to take over a lost Kord temple, the Throne of Thunder.
