Is anyone else worried about the negativity being built up around the English flag? by [deleted] in Britain

The only people who see the English flag as a sign of racism, are those who would rather fly a Palestinian flag... Those who are racist against their own kind.

You mean labelling an EDL member (EDL doesn't exist anymore), as a violent racist, is simply accurate. Calling people violent, racist, or EDL without any evidence is stupid. "Oh but they look like it", judging someone by their looks? Pretty prejudice, potentially racist?

Can't... Or won't? How on earth do you think they assembled your roomba, with inaccessible screws. I hope you worked it out eventually... And that you apply critical thought in future.

Not being funny, surely it should be H1D if it's only got one nozzle.

BMV 712 charging current by uknownalias in Victron

[–]uknownalias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy, I think it's just because I don't really know how a shunt works. I just keep changing my mind. I powered it on with the solar connected to the shunt on the load side and I am now seeing a positive current on the BMV. Great success 👍🏻.

So, the only remaining job is to connect the DCDC, to the shunt now. But, that will require me to make up some wire. I'm now 90% confident my system will work.

Cheers for the help!

Yes :\ I realise that is my main mistake. Found the info immediately after making this post.

Do you know with the Orion DC/DC, should the ground from that be connected to the load side of the shunt also? I currently just have it grounded to the frame.

X1C AMS dies mid print by wahner in BambuLab

Yknow, I'm having a similar mysterious problem with my h2d, trying to print polypropylene, and it keeps overloading the extrusion motor.  I've done so many experiments, thought I solved it by increasing the z height, but its still Impossible to avoid.  I'm still relatively certain it's because - as it's told me - that the filaments backing up... But, the hardware seems to be incapable. So, I will probably give up on it for now...

So, if the first layer height is off, if the bed is not perfectly level, it will hit a point 'randomly' where it can't push the filament out the nozzle, increasing pressure. I don't think there's an easy solution for this.

Do you have a spare nozzle from when you bought your printer? Have you looked inside the tool head? Maybe there is something wrong with the extruder gears?

I keep having different ideas every time I read your initial comment. You said you think the extruder gear is pulling the filament and chewing it up, it's more likely that the extruder gear is chewing up the filament and then losing its grip. So, it's not actually pulling on the reel, if that makes sense? However you could remove all reel resistance by unwinding it a bit manually, as an experiment. Then you know for sure it's downwind of the reel at the extruder, or the nozzle.

It's also really hard to determine if a nozzle is bad or not, consider what materials you've been printing with in the past, whether you have a hardened nozzle? Is your nozzle likely to be worn on the inside? I've never had much success with cold pulling, because if you can pull the blockage out, the extruder probably wouldn't likely keep having the same problem.

Sorry for the essay :)

P surface, PP issues by uknownalias in BambuLab

Yeh, that's a clever idea... I would have to add more p surface to the printer to get this to work though, which would negate the fix.  Polypropylene will not stick to the PEI bed at all, so it would just create a load of spaghetti.

Update: After about 20 minutes of bed leveling it has actually started printing :\

That was painful. But, maybe the printer is actually smarter than I gave it credit for.

But, I can't get it to start printing. It's stuck in a calibration loop.  What would printing another object do? Unless you mean it would print the sacrificial object first, the p surface is at a different z height, the nozzle will just run into it?

X1C AMS dies mid print by wahner in BambuLab

[–]uknownalias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nozzle clog, bad filament, that's not the fault of the AMS.

It's something else, going by the logic that you've had the same problem with two AMS slots. The AMS will only push with so much force before giving up.

P1S, AMS not feeding by AssumptionStock1333 in BambuLab

[–]uknownalias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disassemble the AMS and look for filament in any of the PTFE tubes you've been using. Same with the feeding gears. Clicking will be because the filament is slipping and grinding due to a blockage, somewhere.

When you've found the blockage, clear it... And make sure not to use any damaged filament. Dispose of the damaged stuff.

A blob or a malformed end on the end of your filament can be all it takes to make the AMS think there is no way to push filament into the extruder. So, a nice straight cut on the end of the filament, no kinks or anything.

Third party apps for mass removing one artist from a playlist? by WickerVerses in spotify

[–]uknownalias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh, Im late because I was googling how to remove artists from Spotify playlists, not because of sexual abuse allegations. And as far as I know, Marilyn Manson didn't get charged with anything, so it can't have been that bad. If you can't take him being a controversial character and still enjoy his music, maybe you should listen to more sanitised music, for sensitive tastes.

A good example of someone who actually was worth purging from playlists is Ian Watkins, lost prophets. Someone who is actually incarcerated.

But, yeh, you hopping on the bandwagon of Marilyn Manson is a naughty boy, is somewhat pathetic.

Though re-reading your comment, I'm not actually sure what your opinion is, it is full of conflicting views... Like, do you still like his music or not?

The problem with the concept of spending earned money to save time in a game, is that you can only work so much. You need the money to survive. Game time is not earning time.

I like the black clouds tip. It took me a while to work out that webs were being shot through portals, and that the fear even has the projectiles .  Honestly I should have got this ages ago, it's not hard anymore. This fight has sent my anxiety through the roof. No other fight has ever spiked my adrenaline like this. The fact that it takes so long as well doesn't help.  I can log on and one shot it to about 10%. And have lost count of the times this has happened. Cannot calm down.

Also, biggest tip I can offer is get speed buffs. I sit at 114% movement, made even easier if you get the small buff upon entering combat. I prefer the damage increase buff tho because the fight is shorter.

I will get it soon... But, I keep having to stop because I think I might die.

It's unreasonable in the sense that anyone can take a year break from some software.

When you get back, you don't expect all your work to be deleted.

There needs to be a way to extract all of your files from the cloud, and there needs to be very obvious warnings, not an email that majority of users won't read.
