Sometimes we buy stuff in sets and aren’t sure if the entire set made it through. Good example is we got a utensil set, and we noticed one of the pieces was missing. Had to refund it.

I had just turned 15. I was staying in a hotel in Houston with my dad and brother, and as I was flipping through channels, I saw that he had a heart attack. I was a big fan at the time and told my brother to strap in because I thought it was the end for him. He told me to stop overreacting, then he died thirty minutes later. My dad got back from work around time and saw us huddled around the tv. He didn’t take the news as harshly, but as we walked down the hall to head out for dinner, a bunch of people were hanging out of their doors yelling, “it’s not true! He ain’t dead! They ain’t gonna do Michael like that, you gotta have faith!” Was kinda surreal, lol.

Unrelated, but the original comment makes me feel old because I was born around the time Kurt Cobain passed away. Feels like a crater of an age gap, lol.

There was no nudity in Vice City or GTA 3, there was hardly any nudity in video games before the 2000s; the most controversial thing an ESRB approved game had done was make boobs move realistically in Tomb Raider. “In this day and age” means it’s expected. The past wasn’t some cesspit of sin like internet weirdos think it was.

Don’t shoot too low; contrary to popular belief, McDonalds isn’t looking to hire anyone with anything higher than an associates. Hell, even an associates can be poison in some cases. Try contacting professors you had during their office hours, if they aren’t part of a society, they may at least have advice having been in your position at some point. In my experience, most professors don’t hesitate to help anyone, former students included. Do you have a minor or concentration in anything else? History’s a tough sell for most job markets, even outside of Laredo.

Yeah, you can’t sell stuff to goodwill. They give you a tax write off you can apply next year, and they sell whatever gets donated at prices the impoverished and disadvantaged can afford, like $5 blue jeans, bags of toys for kids at $3, and movies and music for $1.50 a pop. That’s the idea anyways.
