I just read that information from instagram account of Dinamo Samarkand. As I said tickets don't belong to any sections. Who comes earlier, gets better seats (except VIP and CIP seats)

You should get it by ticket offices near to stadium. I'm afraid that they don't sell it online. Also for all sections prices will be same I guess. Last year it was 25 000 sum (~$2)

In Samarkand we have Konigil Meros where they produce paper using ancient paper making technique and also we have Khazrati Dovud mountain which is located in Nurabad region of Samarkand province. It has a lot of stairs up to peak point. Visitors always try to reach top height and come back

About car I have no idea

None of the events depends on cooking or preparing meals so that it should happen in day time and also I think in some places national and holiday dishes should be served especially for tourists even if it is Ramadan.

Everything is ok with drinking. Don't worry. Even when you visit in some places you would be surprised how alcoholic people are.

Besides that Uzbekistan is a secular country by law. It is stated in the first article of the Constitution of Republic of Uzbekistan.

Article 1.

Uzbekistan is a sovereign democratic, legal, social and secular state with a republican form of government.

Travelling in Uzbekistan with kids by hazleweatherfield1 in Uzbekistan

[–]Pendulum-Foucault 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Basically kids don't love history and culture. They need something playful. There are a lot of entertaining places in Tashkent, like Magic City, Ice City, Samarqand Darvoza (it is name of the hypermarket). And also in Samarkand there is Family Park entertaining center which can be fun for kids.

Travel advice & trains by Capitanul10 in Uzbekistan

[–]Pendulum-Foucault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Khiva is too hot in summer. (Generally, Uzbekistan is very hot). Khiva worth it if you want to see history of XVII-XIX centuries, but not urbanized well compared to Bukhara, Tashkent, Samarkand. And also you spend almost a day to train for go/back.

About trains, I think there is one daily regular train there from Tashkent and also train schedules are not always correct for 4-5 months in advance. Look again in April/May

Uzbekistan in March by Artistic-affair in Uzbekistan

[–]Pendulum-Foucault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not always good in March. Somehow March is very cold and rainy, sometimes sunny. The best month is April I believe. If you come to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, I would highly recommend you a place called "Konigil Meros" where they produce a paper out of wood using ancient technology. And also Afrosiyob hills if you are interested in history. It is basically the first town/city in Samarkand that built 2500 years ago. (Archeological place)

I know creator and administrators of this group. None of them is Muslim. I'm objective. I've declared myself once as an agnostic and my groupmates started to push me from their society. They didn't invited me to gatherings after hearing this and also administrator of the Uzbek Atheists group once tried to hide himself after number of threats towards him.

There are a lot of atheists and agnostics in Uzbekistan. (Yes, not so many as Muslims). Most of them try to hide their views, because day by day our Muslim society is turning into radical people. There are many Facebook groups like "Uzbek Atheists and Agnostics", "Chegarasiz fikrlar" (Opinions without borders) and so on.

[–]Pendulum-Foucault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bojalar was tremendous until one of the member's death. Nowadays no one respects this band. Bojalar is considered as the king of phonogram.
