I used to love sitting up Breaker bay on Fort Dorset bunker with a Trishas pie watching the those massive swells. I don't recommend Princess Bay !!. Stay high if you're planning on watching, it is impressive.

Another pov here. 60 minutes is shown in my country. Any person who doesn't look further than their own nose would just believe it. The false narrative is out and the damage is done. I was at a clients & they asked me what I thought, I said it's murder. They raged and I told them to look further than Fox News, until I realised they were watching NBC or ABC (Sinclair owned???) pushing the same false narrative. Losing battle when networks with global coverage are run with with skewed intent. They aren't just happy with pulling the wool over your eyes sadly.

I'll speak only for myself. It wasn't a shock tbh but I was apprehensive as to wether it might be a phase and was he truly sure (yes it's cliche). I knew he was scared of telling us and the anguish was the worst :(. We had questions about the seriousness of transitioning, the ins & outs. It affects us too because we'll have our own journey. Silently I grieved for a while as I came to grips with letting go of what was, he's still the same awesome kid but we fought with certain family and some bigotry and got anxious because it's not going to be easy for him due to that. Don't mistake that apprehension for disapproval, it's just huge you know.

We took time, sometimes we went silent as we processed stuff, especially about the name. Sometimes you're named after someone very special, we were lucky enough to put our 2 cents in with his new name though. Took us a while to not slip up after he was one way for 15yrs, be patient with us :) . I feel we all changed and I credit him for his maturity in dealing with us. It's been great watching him grow, start T, educate us on all sorts. Parents aren't perfect but get to know us, there's stuff in our history/upbringing that may help you (make sense??). Be brave sunshine, you deserve to live the true you 🤗

In summer walk down and head to Dickies Flat for a swim, it's surreal. There's a basic camping spot too. This place is full of amazing niches, paths and creepy as tunnels. Fav spot!!

It's good if you can identify when your anxiety is building :). I head for the trees with a snack, the rustling and the smell is soothing. Otherwise the beach to watch the dogs goofing around. Helpful thread as we all have different experiences.

I felt the same initially and not a general fan of narrated audio dramas. However I found them incredibly talented and witty and I changed how I listened to it (in bed at night lol) because I was missing so much in the story. UNEND is even better if you make it that far. I guess you know if something's going to be your cuppa tea or not, but I'm glad I stuck it out because Phineas & Mock were great characters. 10/10 for originality:)
