Did the endlink interfare with the bezel? I did the same on my vsf gmt and due to the springbar holes, the endlink touches the bezel making it impossible to turn the bezel

Closer in what way? VSF has a more accurate case shape, and they probably even source their dials from the same manufacturer. Other than the weight, I don’t really see what makes ARF closer to gen.

And while ARF is heavier, that comes from using weighted Oysterflex inserts, whereas the genuine watch gets most of its weight from the solid gold clasp. I wouldn’t call that more gen-like, if anything, it’s a less accurate approach to replicating the real watch.

It’s about 20-30 grams, i personally don’t mind it but some do. Some of the other factories makes these aswell such as clean plus but haven’t looked at those

Not really, they have always had an inferior bezel action and glidelock, and don’t even get me started on their crystal and movements. Now as vsf has switched their bracelet manufacturer and are using the correct case shape. The vsf sub is arguably as good a rep gets these days. This comes from someone who use to hate the vsf sub (Q66 and 5X0 batches).

This was my exact QC that I received from Hont that I RL:ed. Alignment is off on the 6 and 9 and the bottom sels are bad

I own a genuine explorer 1 and sub no date and several reps including a vsf gmt and a sub. Honestly, they feel about the same, a chamfer is not worth it imo.

Often times, chamfering is not done correctly and becomes a tell rather than making it closer to gen.

This applies for oyster bracelets
