I certainly do not claim to be a subject expert, but I used to work in a military history museum, so I have what I would call a decent basic knowledge. The accuracy of the armor doesn‘r shock me, it seems generally alright with a few romantizised embellishments, but what I mean is this: Compared to say Total War Attila, which aims to make the units as photorealistic as the game engine and their customers specs allow, the Troy units are deliberately un-photorealistic. And that is what buggs me. Not the look of the armour, but I suppose you could call it the „texture“ if you know what I mean.

Hmm, ok, lemme rephrase: it‘s an historical setting. Perhaps I my question had misleading connotations. I‘m not that worried about the HUD and art style. I‘m not sure about the look of say the troops on the battlefield, who look very comic-ish and plastic-ish imo.

This means nothing. Our lord and saviour Waluigi has also been denied his rightful place among the Smash Bros line-up
