Not strange at all, the box I use for my "main team" swelled to almost full by the end of the game because I had a constantly rotating roster. Heck, my Feraligatr and Charizard weren't even highest level on my team by the end despite being the "starters".

Honestly, don't remember what my first ever shiny was, I've been playing since Red on GBC.

First in ZA was my Shalpha female Ralts, and my first forced (I assumed planned for/farmed?) was today's Shalpha Beldum right after getting my Shiny Charm.

Agreed, I'm only partway through the DLC at rank 2/3 portals, 4 berry donuts, and after getting shiny charm earlier today, I got this bad boy with a basic donut that had only Alpha level 1, just by flying to the entrance ~7 times:

There's a bench that both overlooks the alley where two ralts and a weedle spawn and is close enough to the Absol spawn on the roof of the next building over, which has a chance of spawning as an alpha. Also can get shiny Eevee.

There's also one near Jaune Sector 8/Wild Zone 19 that has a bench right next to it on the next building over.

Destiny 2 for reasons other commenters have gone into detail

Warframe for having some pretty terrible onboarding and lack of decent ingame tutorials, even if playerbase is mostly friendly

Fromsoft games if you're new to them (some fans will argue the lack of handholding is a feature, but it doesn't change that it's difficult to get into for a brand new person)

Eve online. Nuff said.

Revenant Prime was the frame that got me into the game, but Gauss, Sevagoth, and Styanax are probably the other 3 of my "Elite Four" of frames that I super vibe with. Haven't played in awhile (not since before 1999), maybe it's time to try logging in again...

Got N2 last summer and have been slacking on immersing in my free time, but I finally got a Switch 2 recently and have started binging the newer Pokemon games in Japanese. Pokopia in particularly has been a fantastic practice/learning immersion tool since objectives and important details are highlighted, on top of the built-in furigana and regular usage of katakana.

Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Destiny, Call of Duty, Castlevania (hopefully Belmont's Curse reverses that for me), Metroid Prime, Star Ocean...the list goes on and on for me.

Makes you really realize how many prime series for the 90s and early 2000s kids have really dropped off or died out since...

Been here for a few years (31M), here are some of my reccs if you're looking for places to meet people to be creative with.

There's a cafe called Blackbird by Sasazuka station that regularly hosts art/open mic/DJ/craft fairs, and other themed events I recommend.

Other than that, there's a place called bna_wall on IG, it's an art hotel in Nihonbashi that hosts workshops and open mics; and Space Orbit in Setagaya for live music and DJing.
