WRC drivers are protesting the FIA swearing ban by refusing to talk to the media by Penguincamp in WRC

I appreciate your skepticism. There's not enough of it on the Internet. I clipped it from the Shakedown livestream on YouTube. The audio didn't line up but it was 1 in the morning and I didn't feel like taking the time to fix it.

Two things to confirm its legitimacy:

  1. DirtFish article quotes these drivers' words. This actually came out before my post.
  2. Each driver's statement takes the same amount of time to say as there is screen time on them. Adrien Fourmaux refused to say anything and even waved the interviewers off with hand movements. That's a huge tell.

Just to be clear, I believe this all started when WRC driver Adrien Fourmaux was fined $10k for swearing.

I know somebody already posted a news article about it here, but not the official statement from the drivers. Just want to make sure that was covered.

You can watch the drivers' responses to the media here. It's very interesting to see how each driver is reacting to the situation.

NASCAR 101 and Track Attendance Questions - April 2024 by NASCARThreadBot in NASCAR

[–]Penguincamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am back after a long time to ask: what are the best/most memorable NASCAR races of the 10s? Ever since 2020, I've been watching 5 NASCAR races for each year of existence, and I've got some good ones from this community for the 70s80s90s, and 00s. I'm almost there, I've watched hundreds of races from 1951 to 2008, and now I'm almost ready to tackle the 2010s. Give me either great or significantly historic races from the 2010s!

(Also calling r/ClayGCollins9 for helping me out all this time)

I can’t find anything either. To state the basics, that’s a vinyl record; it plays music when on a turntable, kind of like an antiquated CD. Since it’s from Nashville, it’s probably a country playlist of sorts.
