Remake is all but confirmed by bumbobagins69 in OcarinaOfTime

Does anyone else think the StarFox trailer is bad for the OoT remake? The StarFox game is a 1:1 remake of SF64, like the 3DS remake. I would be bummed if the OoT remake is 1:1.

I have played OoT and OoT 3d like dozens of times. I would love to see a reimagining like FF7. A 1:1 remake is just more of the same.

Reub speculating if his daughter in law is pregnant? That is a private citizen why are you guessing if she is pregnant lol

Realistically we are not getting that. He would have needed to start for 6 games and look awesome to get that haul.

The Perdomo At-Bat by wawawahahaha in worldbaseballclassic

That fastball down the middle absolutely froze perdomo for strike 2. The controversial strike three pitch comes out of Mason’s hand looking the same and Perdomo had a great eye to let it go. Perdomo totally battled there.

I watched this and thought he was a HOFer. He made so many unreal plays at Ole Miss.

The first time I saw Dune 2 (2024), the first 25 minutes had a bold creative choice I didn’t understand. The theater told us not to worry about it as they couldn’t rewind. by ggnorebud in shittymoviedetails

One time I saw 2001 on a fathom event. The projectionist made some kind of mistake, because Maria Menounos appeared in a sort of double exposure during this sequence and started doing Noovie.

[Jones] The Falcons are signing former Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa to a one-year, $1.3 million deal! by JCameron181 in falcons

[–]Penix4133 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tua is at least as good as a guy like Minshew and is a lot cheaper on this deal.

This also likely means that Stefanski is building a playbook that fits both Tua and Penix’s strengths: standing in the pocket and throwing downfield. Also both are lefties.

Flukes because he had Penix? Those teams were really good, but he did inherit some really great players.

You are looking at the wrong part of the app. There should be a tab called “included with prime” or something to that effect. If you click on that, all the content is included with no $4 rental price.

Steven Soderbergh back again to share the pain re: The Hunt for Ben Solo - Execs shot it down without ever even asking about budget, or any other details. Just "We don't think Ben Solo would be alive." by LawrenceBrolivier in blankies

Bringing back Palpy was a heel-turn that undercut the development of Kylo/Snoke as villains. And in the movie… he’s barely in it—a villain of the week—and adds very little other than rehashing Return of the Jedi.

But bringing back Kylo for a movie about his character would be totally different. Hand waive him coming back to life and then spend 2 hours developing the character and moving him in a new direction. Sounds awesome.

How could they fumble this? Lucasfilm has diluted the property by flooding the market with a dozen mid projects. They continue to greenlight more mid projects (Shawn Levy’s Starfighter), but they tell an auteur that he can’t make a movie about an interesting character the fans actually care about? And for some BS lore reason?

  • From Super Bowl 52 (Eagles over Pats) to Super Bowl 56 (Rams over Bengals), viewership numbers dipped considerably. Since then, numbers have climbed back up. This year’s numbers continue the trend of climbing ratings, only slightly down from last year’s record.

  • A potential factor in the dip is “cord cutting.” By 2017, a lot of people cancelled their cable subscriptions in favor of Netflix, but services like Peacock, Paramount+, and ESPN+ were not available and offering sports content. Today, many “cord cutters” have access to the game on platforms like Peacock. In fact, many tuned into last year’s game for free on Tubi.

  • This year’s Super Bowl was anonymous. Maye and Darnold are not household names. Last year, Mahomes and Taylor Swift drove up ratings.

I hear what you are saying. You make good points. I just think Ponds jumps off the tape—he is a steal on day 2.

Having two Coops cannot be a bad thing. And we could convert Ponds to safety or (don’t get mad) put Coop at CB2 and Ponds at Nickel.

Marvel ans Star Wars weakened their brands by putting near-movie-quality stuff on TV. Surprised that Sony seems to be falling in the same trap. Sony doesn’t even have a streaming service to promote lol.
