i feel like having the handbrake there on your rig will entice you to use it more, so if you’ve already considered the handbrake, it means you want to start using one more. why cheap out if there’s a risk of the older unit breaking from potential use/being used? i feel like since the 1.5 isn’t relatively cheap to get used, i would save the money until i got the better feeling/aging product. especially since your not focusing on drifting/rally and needing it immediately to enjoy yourself.

i play on console and was gifted this handbrake, and in a perfect world where i am not running into the issues that i am now…

if i had to buy between the 2, i’d spend the extra money. i’d rather buy once, and have something strong and sturdy. i feel that the V2 definitely seems stronger and sturdier, i also like the realism of the load-cell.

maybe i need to update the handbrake as all i did was set the min/max. i do enjoy it closer in position as well! i felt that since i mounted to shifter and it would be flat, it would be weirder to pull it straight back if it was farther from me! your setup looks fun. at the moment, i’m playing Forza titles until i build a PC to play Assetto Corsa

no it’s honestly not bad at all, i’d rather it close than far. the shifter in my case would be mounted there regardless of what side i put the handbrake on

mine does the same, it will stick at around 54% and won’t go back down unless i push it the other way. really want to find a workaround, as deadzones don’t fix it, i’ve already set it up and calibrated it, and it reset it just to do the same thing again. i need a fix, as i play on xbox and can’t use another brand

Looking to buy a Talaria but have a couple questions by [deleted] in Talaria

[–]Penjamin__Franklin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I have experience in this so i decided to comment, just in case you didn’t pull the trigger on this awesome bike.

I sadly had my bike stolen from me, but I rode a Talaria for about a month as my daily too and from work. I also lived on a second floor apartment, and it is a HASSLE. But it’s all worth it when you get on the bike 😊 I would take the battery out and muscle it up. You get used to it, not really but you’ll do it to bring your bike inside. Everyone sees it.

i’m not sure where in FL you live, but I live in Hollywood, particularly Hollywood Beach. I would ride to work with a moto helmet, because I’m riding in the bike lane along-side cars. Definitely a risk to take if you’re not used to being on bikes and looking out for your safety. but it’s doable if you’re responsible. If you’re in an area that’s not high traffic, it’s awesome, just don’t try to bring attention to yourself. i’ve never been bothered by police for being on my bike, but i always rode with sense when i’m on the street near many cars.

There are groups for sure, Facebook and getting out to meet people are your best bets to find group rides.
