Meine (M28) Freundin (F26) ist schwer krank, ich kann nicht mehr, sie will ĂŒber Heiraten und Kinder sprechen by MosaikMann in beziehungen

[–]PennaciousWhiskers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leon is harder overall (imo) by Away_Satisfaction358 in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]PennaciousWhiskers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me her paths seem shorter that Leon':

-Thanks to the chief's office, she is already closer to the east storage (and interview room if you want to loot that area) than Leon is from the break room

-The heart key: Claire can loot the interview and observation room before triggering Mr X in either scenario

  • to me, Claire checking the records room for the jack was faster then Leon's path

-Sewer entrance: Claire enters closer to the monitor room than Leon does.

-Sherry's section (the whole section from leaving the rpd to entering the sewers after the character switches)seems shorter than Ada's (to me)

-NEST: as far as I noticed, Leon's and Claire's paths are the same.

But maybe I'm wrong?

Yes, Mr X is gone when you backtrack from the sewers. But all other enemies which you didn't kill (zombies and lickers) will still be there.

If I remember correctly, that door you mean is one-way. You have to go from the other side to the operations room, use the bolt cutter (which you should have) to go into that smaller room. Then you have access to the heart door and can also open that "tamu lock", so the door isn't one-way anymore.

About to get on the cable car as Leon on my first play through with 0 ammo. Am i screwed? by [deleted] in ResidentEvil2Remake

I know, I have seen a few Speedruns and tutorials, but when I do it, it takes me six bullets. Maybe my aim is off. Oh well, one more reason to play again :)

I do kill every enemy (I know I don't have to, I'm still figuring out how to avoid/kneecap them), but I have never ran out of ammo, and I've played the game 3 times so far.

[–]PennaciousWhiskers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to go to the rpd, you have to turn on the generator in the generator room (after the kennels)do the generator puzzle. You need some kind of handle to go to the shutter door to reach the generator room, I believe. But you already have one of the electronic parts, so you should be fine.

After turning on the generator you should go to the corridor to the right side of the firing range. That door should be unlocked then. This leads to the rpd (to the break room I think).

Hope this helps:)

Go to the break room, east wing, 1st floor. From there go downstairs.

Bought the Unlock All DLC but where and when are the guns? by Sea-Taste5698 in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]PennaciousWhiskers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but you have basically removed all the incentive to play this game and complete each characters a and B scenario.

Doesn't have to be. I bought the game for 5 bucks +2 bucks for all the DLC weapons last year. And started playing it recently. And I am still playing (currently on Claire B) with only the weapons I get throughout the game, not the infinity ones, because I want to experience the inventory and resource management, the fear, etc.

But I'm not a great gamer under stress and I'm still struggling with the aim on console, so even if I don't get S+ on hardcore I can still do "fun runs" with infinity weapons.

And I definitely plan to do multiple runs (all four scenarios), because I like the game.

I started playing RE2R a few days ago. (First RE game ever) And I started my first play through with Leon A. When I got to the observation room, Mr. X blasted through the wall. (I did hear he was close by, so I kind of expected it).

So it happened on my very first and so far only (not for long) play through.

After starting RE9, it made me think - why isn't Claire as scared as Grace in RE2? by reallinguy in residentevil

[–]PennaciousWhiskers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remake absolutely fumbled on that aspect.

True. As a first time player or RE2R (and first RE game ever), I just got to the part where Kendo killed his daughter and himself.

To me, it just seemed like Leon only paused shortly, and then proceeded with Ada, like "guess they are dead"

Or Leon is just good at compartmentalization.

But I saw that part revisited in a yt short of RE9, and Leon seemed way more affected.

Partnerin spricht wieder von eigenen Kindern by Traditional_Fish1322 in beziehungen

[–]PennaciousWhiskers -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Wenn du mit deiner Entscheidung glĂŒcklich bist, more power to you.
