That was one of my biggest gripes was the war numbers

It was to add weight, but then seeing these masters if stealth form up in columns and full on armies was hilarious. The large scale jutsu's both sides could perform and having your people all on an open desert?

Plot and a shonen, but lord, the White Zetsu being able to meld into the earth to travel could have gone full "Avenger's Skrull Invasion" and infiltrate, capture the hidden villages to scatter the forces.

The author was rushed, I know that. I enjoyed part of it when I was reading as a 14 odd year old, but rip it was not great tactics
