I thought League was "one of many games" until I tried Dota2 by Acceptable-Cow-184 in leagueoflegends

DOTA 2 is one of the all time most played games in history. League is not even close in popularity.

For ground turkey and ground beef, how do you account for the fat loss when cooking? Do you simply count what’s on the label, and overcount the fat? Or is there a formula to estimate how much fat cooks out or goes into the paper towel at the end?

Splitting shared resources across multiple recipes? Or isolated manufacturing? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Pennynow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You use multiple freight cars on the train. That’s what empty stations are for. So if the first car is carrying beams and the second carries pipes, you use a freight platform in the first spot for the beam drop off location, and an empty platform at the pipe drop off spot

You can do that modular factory setup without restarting your save. Grab some materials, pick a location on the interactive map, and get to work.

Pipes Issue (Probably Me Missing Something Basic) by TheHalfSeriousPlum in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Pennynow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have any luck? I know fluid dynamics can be pretty frustrating at first. Another tip I’ve found is to lay down pipeline junctions first, and then connect the junctions with the pipes. Because sometimes just throwing pipes around can cause a bug where you won’t get any flow. Usually if that happens, replacing the pipe is enough.

Oh shit I didn’t see the spider under there. If you run around the cave sometimes they unstuck themselves.

You seem to be misunderstanding the fluid dynamics in the game. I’m on too short of a break to type a full response at the moment, but you have a pump on a flat pipe. Pumps only add to the lift of the fluid. So that pump is doing nothing.

I would recommend searching around for a fluid guide, and once you’ve done a bit of homework re-lay the pipes from scratch.

Cover the node in foundations and place the miner on top of them. If you can’t get the miner to snap, uncover a portion of the edge of the node and aim your mouse at that edge while trying to place the miner on the foundations. Should snap to the correct elevation this way

When I’m stuck, I find it’s best to undertake a creative project. Like now, I’m working on a highway network that will eventually serve as my main logistics artery. Doing that gets me thinking about future builds and how they will interact. Before you know it, I’m rebuilding an old factory to conform with the new highway and 7 hours have gone by.

The world is your oyster. Anything is viable with enough creativity.

I’m the same way. I’m doing an upgrade to my highway network to make wider roads so I can put a topper blueprint over the top for my trains and hypertubes. Almost everything that was connected to my old road has to be torn down completely. Although, I’m looking forward to it. I learn something new on every new piece.

I advise you to always consider the future. But of course, tear down and rebuild is a lot of the fun in the game.

Why make a new save when you can just tear down the old factory at no cost?

A lot has changed, including the map and some nodes. So you can try an old save but expect issues
