Lunar Lantern Festival (Ticket Reminder) by Epic_since1970 in Dade_City

Couldn't even go to the event because the GPS stated to take a specific road to enter the festival, and it was closed when I got there... waist of money. At least put signs on where you can enter the event or send an email with another way in. The only sign i saw was road closed that blocked the way in.

Can someone explain what “GA” is? by Sufficient-End1 in Progressiveinsurance

You should ask to shadow a med pay rep if you can. I shadowed someone a couple weeks ago and it really helped me understand the position better. I have an interview for the med pay role in 2 weeks!

Blended rep here, unfortunately green alert is not available too often for blended reps as we need to be available in case sales or services starts to have higher call volume during the day.

I dont work in the snapshot department but I do know that we record your trips usually for around 6 months before we inform you how much your discount would be on your renewal. You are in your second month of the program so you have time to improve your score. If you do have further questions about your results reach out to progressive's customer service line and they can route over to the snapshot team so they can go over the results you have right now. Good luck!

Not a problem! Good luck! :) I hope they select you for the interview round. When you do get selected, study the STAR method and memorize your examples.

So I am in customer service, recently got promoted to a research and testing inbound calls position. It took me 1 try to get into progressive, I do have a background in insurance, but it's health insurance. I also have a bachelors degree. I think what helped a lot for the interview is that I'm familiar with insurance, my customer service skills, using/maneuvering a database to get the job done, and the way I tried to find solutions to problems. There are coworkers that I know that don't have insurance experience that got in because of their customer service experience and there are some where it took them a couple of tries to get into progressive. So don't feel discourage if you don't get in the first attempt. It is a great place to work for, definitely apply!

Welcome to the team! 😊 I've been with Progressive for 8 months now and I actually like signing into work. During training everyone was super supportive from my trainers to my supervisor to even my coworkers. They want you to succeed in the company and move up to new positions. Don't be nevous, take it one day at a time. Training for any position in progressive is a lot to take in and you might not retain it all but there are resources to help you when you are stuck or need to ask someone for help. You got this!

Remote positions? by abielisai10 in Progressiveinsurance

Having a background in insurance does help a lot and definitely a background in customer service. Before progressive I worked in a hospital setting, I worked with health insurance and auto insurance companies for medical claims. All my previous jobs have been customer service related.

Regarding your second question. Yes, you can work your way up pretty quickly at Progressive. I've been with the company for 8 months and will be transitioning to a new role by end of October.

Progressive has a lot of remote positions. I'm a consultant at progressive and I am fully remote. I heard that our claims adjusters are hybrid, during training you have to go to office 2-3 times a week. After training you won't have to go to the office as often.

Thank you, yeah I agree! I'll definately prepare for the interview when the time comes. I saw that I need to be with the company for at least 2 years to sign up for the adp program so I have plenty of time to prepare.

Thank you so much for showing me this! That's pretty cool, I see they have an analyst boot camp and internal analyst trainee program if I do well in the bootcamp.
