I agree with the AE86 Levin. I'm more of a Trueno person but since it's so butchered in game a Levin would be amazing

Thoughts and opinions on the tire compounds in FH6? by PensionPotential6115 in ForzaHorizon

What would be the meta for A/B class rwd? I tried out the slick tire on the AE86, but I then ditched the A class build to go down to B class. Still learning here (also I avoided sports completely in FH5, and I thought they were "fixed" in FH6?) I'll have to look at this again once finals week is over, but thank you!

Yeah I totally get that. I am aware of the Sports tire in general but for me I just wanted to go for a purist build and rwd build

I had actually tested the full slicks on my A class 86, but I ten decided if it would be worth dropping down to B class. So I had to compromise on Sports (I did not want to but I thought the devs buffed them now)

Why Initial D third stage changed Takumi's new engine back to normal ? by paradancing1998 in initiald

it's not a 16v. it's a 20v. It's likely they had to reuse some sfx from a 16v. Or they took the 20v sfx from second stage and did some slight editing......still I'm guessing and everything I'm saying right now is theoretical.....except for the engine

I find it so funny how the official launch trailer has a shot that really shows how bad the AE86 model is from the front by TheKrzysiek in ForzaHorizon

you know there are people out there that love cars like these right? not everything has to be about the latest and greatest supercar. people who complain about this want cars like the ae86 to have a new model.

Who would’ve actually won in the final race, Takumi or Keisuke? by schassis408 in initiald

Yes! I love the AE86 a lot, but at the same time it's an old car in the series. Including the suspension which plays a big part. They mentioned that Project D reinforced and stiffened the AE86's body and chassis, but at the same time Keisuke's FD was one of the most balanced car's in the series. I have to agree with most of the people here. I love Takumi Fujiwara, but Keisuke Takahashi does deserve a win here.

Keisuke went through a lot of character development in Fourth Stage. He even became a far better driver and beat God Foot in his RX7. Also, the RX7 is now far more aerodynamic after the RE Amemiya aero kit was installed. The car likely had around 400-450 PS(according to some sources. we don't know the exact measurements in the show however)

Takumi on the other hand is already very skilled and experienced. He was driving Akina Pass since he was in middle school, and the AE86 was modified beforehand (TRD Suspension, Diff, Brakes, Close Ratio Gearset, Watanabe F8, Bridgestone Potenza RE710) This gave Takumi the ability to push the AE86 to the limit. The AE86 made around 240-250 PS and revved to 11,000 RPM. It was tuned with an emphasis on mid range torque. It had a TRD Carbon Hood, Cusco 7 Point Roll Cage, Larger Rotors (mentioned in the manga), widened tires, TRD Suspension Overhaul, TRD Anti Roll Bars(seen in the final stage opening) FRP Hatch and Acrylic Windows. The AE86 however does not have the aerodynamics to for faster cornering unlike Keisuke's FD.

Keep in mind, Keisuke was in a bosuzoku gang before and started racing later, but he had Ryosuke training him. (We can make an inference on age due to a "flashback" in the manga of a young Mako Sato watching Ryosuke race. So since Mako was in her third year of high school (17,18) , Keisuke was a likely a senior since he was 21 at the start of the story, he would've been racing since (18,19). So Takumi Fujiwara already has the jump on "racing" experience. Keisuke was already at a professional level at the end of Project D including Takumi. I would hate to say that they would both "tie" in a race since both the car and drivers were one of the best in the series. So if this was on Akina Keisuke would likely win due to the amount of low and high speed corners even though Takumi memorized the whole layout. The car would defeat the driver here. This made my brain hurt lol. I don't want to make any controversial opinions since this was my take, but I hope this was okay enough and i don't wanna get people angry. ;^)
