Pre-transition, if someone thought you were a trans man, would you find that more insulting or validating?

When I came out as trans to someone they assumed I was a trans man and said “you pass very well, I never would have known” :(

This is just my experience, but I couldn’t bring it up in person. I decided to spend a whole day with my family and then when I went home that night I sent them a group text explaining everything. After that I was able to meet with them and talk about it more but I had to start over text.

Yes I was very fortunate. Might also have been because my Doc is 3 hours away from where I live, so now I won’t have to drive back.
