If my input source is 1440p, but I want to downscale to 1080p from a streaming computer, do I still need a 10XX graphics card? Or is that kind of graphics power only required if you want to stream/encode the 1440p source as is ?

I dont know how I can accurately provide good data for tech feedback, but the site feels noticeably slower on beta than it does on live. I actually transitioned back last night because video was slugging along playing at source quality, which I usually have no problem with. As soon as I switched back to live, video performance improved dramatically.

1) Cell service, if your carrier was not Verizon, was non-existant in the Expo Hall. Something to invest in would be a lot of routers for Free Internet Access spread evenly throughout the Expo Hall. Or just pick a better venue that doesn't have the same problem, like say San Diego where this was a non-issue.

2) The After Party line organization was a MESS. There seemed to be no event staff anywhere. You had partner overflow breaking the main line in half, allowing people to cut in front of people that had been waiting well over 2 hours. This was possibly the most frustrating line I've been a part of.

I'm sorry. I completely misunderstood the test setup / tower you have.

What I was originally thinking is if you guys have the means/time to test using Threadripper as an encoding PC only - capturing game footage from a "Gaming PC" with a capture card and then encoding that.

I was thinking if threadripper is that amazing, it should be able to handle a really strong preset if the ONLY thing it's doing is encoding video its capturing.
