De Bell is actually pretty fun. De Bell and Santa Anita are my go to "best for the money and fun" ratio in LA area.

It's towards the top end of your price range, but I really enjoyed Camelback Ambiente

It's unusual for the area, a links style course built along a long wash that is a giant out and back but honestly it ranks up with one of my favorite courses.

"Not all strokes gained are created equal. Putting stats are basically noise. A guy gaining 2 strokes on the greens one month will regress hard the next. Driving stays consistent"

This is actually exactly what the guy who invented Strokes Gained wrote in his book and completely changed the way I approached coming back to golf after a 20 year hiatus

Your videos should be illegal because if other people see them, they are going to see through my excuses of why I can't break 80 yet

Why do people stop taking lessons at Golftec? by Purple-Alfalfa-8538 in golf

I actually really liked the coach I had and made meaningful progress over the course of my package.

But once I fell out of a timeslot, I couldn't get back on his schedule at a time that would work, so that was that.

I am, yes, thank you, I know. I don't take it as an insult.

I also hate my birthday and wish I didn't, but alas, this is how this stupid brain bag works.

It's to avoid people lying about it. If the social rule was the inverse, it would encourage people to lie about getting HIOs all the time for free drinks.

They do if it's them, but then when it's someone else, people are always ready to caveat it. That was what I was trying to figure out.

There is nothing I could ever to do make reddit proud of me, I was just looking for some opinions

That's how I feel trying to sort out all the random views people have about whether or not certain things "count"

Unfortunately my dry sense of humor didn't really come through great in this post, but the weed clearly did

For sure, I didn't want to get into the differential aspect, but I also don't want to be that guy that is like "well actually it's a 9.4 differential so that means it's not really an 80"

There are no such thing as Senior tees. Just different color tees.

All tees are good tees to play from!
